I submitted my application for Republic Airways and heard back from a recruiter the following day. We had a 15 minutes phone screen conversation a few days later and I was invited for an interview in Indianapolis. They booked my flights to and from the interview and put me up at the Springhill Suites near the training center. All travel and accommodation was paid for by Republic. On the interview day I arrived at 08:15am and met all the other applicants interviewing that day. At 08:30am we had a company presentation by HR and... Continue Reading this Interview Experience

  1. Interview sample 1

May 15, 2024 The day starts at 8:00 where you first go on a tour of the training facility. Next is a presentation from an HR rep on the company. After this, there is a Q & A with a few pilots who will be conducting the technical part of the interviews. The pilots had a lot of good info to give on the company. After this we filled out a spreadsheet with flight time and waited for interviews. Interview was mostly HR questions with a few technical questions at the end. They’re just looking for... May 15, 2024 Interview was as briefed by previous experience on the site. They were very friendly snd relaxed. The facility was amazing , and the stay was comfortable. I was asked to brief an APP into KIND. Read a METAR and TAF for KIND with alternate. The HR was very easy. Asked why Republic, what makes a good FO, and biggest challenge. I'm still waitting to hear back, good luck to... Continue reading this interview experience

  3. Interview sample 3

May 13, 2024 Pretty similar to what was said by everyone else. They keep you at their hotel on their campus which is really over the top nice. We were shown around the facilities and then had a chance to talk to a couple fo's, a long time captain, and an hr rep. They were all very nice and open to any and all questions. They want to make sure you're a good fit for them and that they are a good fit for you. Everyone was very friendly, the interview was ~30 minutes for me and everyone else that was... 4. Interview sample 4

May 10, 2024 I applied 4 days ago online and had a phone conversation with one of the HR representatives and the entire conversation lasted 20 minutes today. She first asked through what school marjory of my training has been so far. She then asked why I want to leave my current position. We walked through a few legal questions (valid passport, checkride failures, any aircraft incidents or accidents, etc.) and then a detailed questioning about my current flight time (PIC, SIC, Multi, night, instrument,... 5. Interview sample 5

May 09, 2024 Completed a virtual interview, it was the typical HR and a current FO. HR questions, tell me about yourself, Then Technical portion, (view the study guide of this website).  Overall, laid back. I did already have my ATP-CTP course completed, best of luck... 6. Interview sample 6

May 08, 2024 Same as every else reported: quick phone screen, then they fly you out to Indiana for the face-to-face interview. They give you a walk through the training facility, then have you fill out your hours on a spreadsheet. After that, they interview you. It really is a non-stress interview as everyone says, except that I had inadvertently made it stressful in my own mind for obvious reasons. The HR person was very nice and asked the same questions as everyone has talked about (TMAAT), while the... Continue reading this interview experience

  7. Interview sample 7

May 07, 2024 Got flown in and hoteled for one night in IND. Wore my suit to the 7:45 meet time for the tour. Got the HR intro and the Q and A with Pilots. No discussion of pilot contract for $100k penalty if you leave in 3-5 years. Very nice hotel, personnel, breakfast, cafe. Interview lasted about thirty minutes as I had been told to expect. HR questions on why I want to work there and an emergency and how I handled it. Technical questions on METAR, TAF, 123 rule, basic frontal systems and... Continue reading this interview experience

  8. Interview sample 8

May 03, 2024 Interview overall was pretty laid back and easy, asked basic IFR questions mostly, read metar/taf, what is a virga, how much frost is allowed on an aircraft, how to read a jeppeson plate. As long as you go through this website you should be set, just make sure you have some good and heartwarming stories for... Continue reading this interview experience

  9. Interview sample 9

May 02, 2024 They fly you in and have a shuttle pick you up to bring you to the training center which is about 30 minutes away from KIND. The hotel is really nice and you can kind of tell that it was designed by pilots for pilots. Good quality stuff and no wasted space in the rooms. The next morning everyone met in the lobby of the hotel (there were 5 of us interviewing in our group) and waited for HR to show up and bring us into the presentation. They gave us a tour of the facilities and then we spoke... Continue reading this interview experience

  10. Interview sample 10

May 02, 2024 Everything happened as stated before. The Interviewer and FO were incredibly nice. The HR portion consisted of HR type questions, (view the study guide of this website).  Then the technical portion is was reading a METAR, TAF, 123 rule, airspeeds, and the only thing I was stumped on was the sterile cockpit below 10,000' question. It went well, but I believe at this time they are looking for more FW hours than I had over Helo hours. Overall wonderful experience and I'll be back to try...
