I was asked why I want to fly for Republic, why I think it's a good fit for me, as well as the scenario of your CA developing cyanosis from Hypoxia on a flight and how you'd handle it as an FO (check on him, put on your 02, put on his, check pressurization system and emergency descent from there). I was also asked what it means to me to be an FO - again reinforce CRM, safety, also the position of learning from the CA and the rest of the crew and personnel in the company. After this the CA began the technical portion - super straight forward. Read a few remarks on a METAR, a TAF, then asked if an alternate was needed based on our ETA. I initially messed this up after I missed a FM line where ceilings required an alternate, but the CA had some grace with me and gave me an opportunity to correct myself and all was well. Also asked what if we had 3 alternates filed (then you'd need fuel to dest, furthest alternate, plus 45 mins at normal cruise airspeed). Showed me...

Iâ??ll start by saying they were extremely nice and welcoming. Really seemed like they wanted me to be there and wanted to hire me. Flew in the day before and had dinner with 2 of the other guys I was interviewing with. Show up for the shuttle early and get there about an hour before they asked us to. Brought onto company hotel the night before. They provide flights. Met with HR and other applicants in the morning, given a tour of the training facility and the company owned hotel. Given time to ask a senior captain, the other interviewer, some questions beforehand. He talked up Republic with the way their pay is rewarded for certain scenarios. Interviews began after. Everything on this site regarding the phone screening, travel to Indy, hotel, tour, Q&A, and interview was spot on. I was interviewed by a First Officer and an HR representative. To start the interview I handed my logbooks to the FO for them to review, and the HR representative asked for my certificate, medical, FCC, passport and resume. Everything on this site was completely accurate. The experience was amazing and left me feeling like Republic is an 11/10. My interview was with a First Officer and one HR representative. We started with 3 or 4 very simple HR questions. Then the technical portion with the FO started with reading a METAR and TAF and determining if we need an alternate. It was a very easy interview process. Everyone is very nice from start to finish and the pilots there do a great job of helping us all feel relaxed. Extremely low threat. The entire staff was super friendly and the Republic campus is truly top-notch. Typical fly in the day before, stay at the hotel which is very nice with all the amenities. AF Reservist flying on tankers for context. Applied in January, phone interview in mid-April, and in person interview April 30. Just like everyone said, it didn't feel like it was an interview. they were prompt at communication, you meet up at the lobby and do the tour and do Q&A with interviewer captains. before you start the interview, you are gonna fill out flight time, checkride failures, recent multi flight date and total multi hours in recent 12 months.
