After the presentation they started calling us one by one to the interview rooms for our interviews. The first ones to get called were applicants who had earlier flights out of Indianapolis back home. I was interviewed by one HR person and one Republic Captain. The HR portion lasted about 10 minutes. The technical portion lasted about 15 minutes. (view the study guide of this website). I was not asked to brief the... Nov 29, 2023 Typical experience: I was flown in the day before and stayed at the hotel. Breakfast was delicious. At 8am the next morning the interviewees were met in the lobby by an HR rep who took us on a tour of the training facility, then we were shown a short slideshow about Republic and their pay/benefits/etc. After the presentation, HR left the room and we were able to speak with the recruiter pilots. Unfortunately no meaningful updates about the contract situation, but the pilots and HR people... Continue reading this interview experience

Nov 28, 2023 Took a tour of their facility. Sat down in a classroom with HR & Pilots. HR did a presentation then left. Pilots stayed behind and had a Q&A session for about an hour. Went to the interview rooms after. Went through some HR questions and then some technical questions read a metar/taf briefed a Jepp plate. Interview took about 15-20 mins. Ask some questions at the... Continue reading this interview experience

Nov 17, 2023 My interview process was exactly what everyone else has already posted. Read and have a story for all the HR questions, and read through the tech questions. Some things that I got asked differently on the technical portion were how a carburetor work (I’m guessing I got asked this because I’m a cfi), what’s wake turbulence, airspeeds in a bravo and beneath the bravo. Also got asked questions about a metar. He pulled up a taf and asked if we needed an... Continue reading this interview experience

Mine started with going through my resume, hours general hr (any failures, incidents, etc), hr questions. (view the study guide of this website). Then pilot q’s included asking about Jepp charts (an arrival and approach, briefed app), holding... Continue reading this interview experience

Nov 15, 2023 Very pleasant experience. Day of the interview everyone met in the lobby like the email mentions (the only people wearing suits) 8-10 mins after 8am an HR rep greeted us gave a quick overview of what was going to happened and asked if anyone needed a drink/food or use the restroom. Once everyone returned the tour commenced. (Quick tour, and interesting) after the tour when into the presentation room met the 3 pilots that would be conducting the technical portion of the interview. Went... Nov 15, 2023 My experience was pretty spot on with many other recent ones from this site. The day before the interview, I was flown in IND and was taken to their Hotel. The next morning, we met in the lobby and got a tour of the attached training facility. At the end of the tour, we had a brief presentation about the company from HR. Then they left the room and a few FO's were there to answer any questions we had. They, (including HR), were very nice and friendly and helpful. We then walked back next... Nov 10, 2023 I had the same great experience as everyone else. Their facility is very impressive and everyone on campus was really nice and down to earth. One thing I noticed is that active CFI’s seem to be asked more difficult questions but even then, it’s nothing crazy. Study this website and the IFR know-it-all sheet and you’ll do just fine. Good... Nov 08, 2023 Was flown out the night before, stayed in the hotel connected to the training facility. Hotel breakfast was free and pretty tasty free coffee bar too. Was told to meet in the lobby 745-800. They showed up at 8am. Got a full tour facility, full motion sims, classrooms, study areas. We went into a classroom for a presentation about company overview. After that HR people left and we had opportunity to ask the captains any questions we wanted. When that was done we walked to where the interviews... Continue reading this interview experience
