Interview experience:
Attended an open house with about 30 others. Two FA's did a quick run down on what was to be expected as a FA. After a short break, to allow those who were no longer interested to leave, we all sat in a circle (about 35) and had to pick cards with customer service questions. Basically all the questions were the same, and we were instructed HOW to respond with our answers. I'm sure it was to see how well we take direction. Believe it or not, many didn't follow exactly as told. After we all went through this (standing in front of everyone, reding the questions then answering), we were sent out for about 30 minutes, then called back in, Names of those who made the cut were read, and the others left. There were about 15 of us left. Round 2: Same thing....similar questions (all based on customer service). Another 30 minute break, then we were called in. And only 4 of us were asked to stay. The rest left. We were then given an hour break to complete a ton of paperwork. After that, we were called in one by one for an interview with the 2 FA's. Very comfortable. More customer service questions, asked to list our best 5 qualities. Excused, then I was called the next day to begin training in 2 weeks, so were the other 3 girls. Training was INTENSE! Must get 80% or better on each test and out of a class of 22, only 12 made it. Accomodations were very nice, and we were paid a decent per diem for meals during the 3 1/2 weeks there. A great company to work for!!! Good luck!~to get the remaining 2 gouges on Horizon Air.
