Interview experience:

First applied without type: Aug 01. Got 737 type Nov 01 and resubmitted. Was called on 18 Feb 02 for March interview. I chose 5 Mar 02/AM slot which was 2 weeks away. Hindsight, I would have given myself a third week, since I didn't receive my paperwork for another 5 days so had to rush a little more than I like but demonstrated that adaptability/flexability thing. I got myself a phone prep with both Rob Beeks and Craig Thornton. I lucked out with them being able to work me in, but I would say get yourself at least a reservation now rather than cross your fingers and hope you can be worked in. Both are great, and I highly recommend a phone prep if you haven't done interviews before. Even if you have, both of these guys are SWA FO's and they have alot of good insight specific to SWA. Rob Beeks includes a CD rom with all the SWA forms on it in WORD. This can be purchased without the phone prep and I highly recommend it since it looks nicer than pen and its much easier than pen.
