1. (Aug 11, 2025) Interview started at 08:00 AM. Met HR in lobby of hotel and was escorted to large meeting room in the hotel. HR went thru the benefits that JSX offers and their growth plans. Really a nice presentation. We were paired off in two’s and completed the HR section, a get to know you and a technical section. Because of my background I believe I was not asked technical questions just mostly about my career and who I am. Many of my friends I flew with at a major airline for many years are... - 8. (Oct 05, 2025) Describe your aviation experience/history from start through today.
- My aviation experience has been amazing. I’ve been so fortunate to have mentors and instructors in my life that are professional pilots that showed me how to fly professionally and held me to ATP standards. They truly love aviation and being able to help someone so that’s why I think I caught the bug so fast. I fell in love with aviation because my mentors took their time and poured their heart into each flight to help me. I continued through my ratings through part 61 and thus obtaining my CFI and continued to build time.
- 9. (Sep 15, 2025) Tell me about yourself.
- 10. (Sep 15, 2025) Tell me about a time that you had a conflict at work/in the cockpit and how you resolved it.
- I had a student show up for a lesson and noticed that from his body language and demeanor that he was upset and disgruntled from the start. Our lesson that day consisted of pattern work, and since the start of the preflight to our taxi and first take off, his mind was elsewhere. It caused him to miss a few instructions from atc which I had to jump in. He then blamed me for it. I calmed him down by having him focus on each part of the pattern and verbalizing each step in hope of calming him down and focusing on the task at hand. I also gave him more time with a full stop and taxi back so he wasn’t rushed or anxious. It worked well and we finished our lesson better than how we started
