This was specifically for JSX. Other gouges were pretty spot on. They provided a hotel room, offered transportation but wasn't needed in my case. There were 5 interviewees including myself, started with a presentation and overview of the company, benefits, compensation, upgrade times, etc. Next was the technical interview, paired with another applicant to go over a taxi, SID, STAR, and approach for KSNA to KMMH using Jepp plates. I have no experience outside of studying... Continue Reading this Interview Experience

  1. Mar 12, 2024 The JSX interview was an absolutely fantastic experience. The gouge on here was pretty exact to my experience. Everyone is extremely friendly. We went to the sim first, (view the Sim/Scenario section in the study guide of this website).  We then toured the facility at the Love field, and then went back to the hotel to eat lunch. Then we did an overview of the company, then split off for interviews. HR included TMAAT questions, and the technical was very conversational. Briefed a taxi... 2. Mar 12, 2024 Much like other posts on here. We had two groups of six. Started with a sim in the morning consisting of holding airspeeds and altitude along with a visual approach. Technical was everything in the study guide. Huge family environment you’ll be good as long as you study the... Continue reading this interview experience

  3. Mar 12, 2024 Overall great experience with JSX. There were two groups of 6. My group started with the presentation of the company, technical, HR TMAAT, and meet with Chiefs. Technical lasted about 20 minutes. If you are asked a question you don't know, it is okay. They were willing to teach and know you haven't flown jets. Most questions were from this guide. Be familiar with how to brief a Jepp STAAR, SID, and approach plate. After we had lunch with our interview group and were all able to chat and get... Continue reading this interview experience

  4. Mar 12, 2024 The interview experience with JSX was a lot of fun, a little bit challenging and mentally taxing sort of like a checkride, but all-in-all it mostly felt like “hangar talk” with fellow pilots, and less like a job interview. The dress code was business formal, dress for success. The interview pool consisted of two groups of six candidates. One group went to the simulator evaluation and to tour the facility while the other group stayed at the hotel and completed the JSX presentation... Continue reading this interview experience

  5. Mar 12, 2024 The interview process was very close to the other experiences shared here. Two groups of 6, split up to cover all portions throughout the day. Presentation of JSX while chief pilots verify logbooks, credentials, letter of recommendation, etc. Listen and learn, ask questions and discover if JSX is the company for you. HR or Corporate Soul portion was as expected. Tell me about a time… any history to disclose, how did you work through a problem as a crew, what was a time you were... 6. Jan 16, 2024 The interview experience at JSX was absolutely wonderful. The company is super welcoming and makes the candidates feel comfortable. The interview was very fair with four parts: Flight Portion, Technical, HR, and Interview with the Chief Pilots. The interview began with a trip where you are put into a simulator and asked to takeoff, do a couple of maneuvers, respond to the instructor pulling back an engine, and fly a visual approach to landing backed up by an ILS. They provided ample... Continue reading this interview experience

  7. Jan 16, 2024 Much like other posts on here We had two groups of 5 each morning group started at sim afternoon did interviews then lunch and switch We were paired up however being an odd number group one person drew the short straw and went alone but they rotated who went solo so it was not the same person for each stage Sim was easy basic pattern work and ILS to land they just wanted to see your skills if you listen to instructions and adjust to keep the aircraft in limitations simple pass fail no... 8. Dec 05, 2023 The interview was very similar to all of the gouges on here. We started at 7:15AM, a group of 6 people. We started with the sim portion and were transported over to CAE. The sim was about 20 minutes and consisted of a takeoff, climb up to 5000 and they then vectored us to do an ILS approach to a landing. Super easy and fun! The interview was then back at the hotel and consisted of the HR portion with one of their recruiters. Asked TMAAT questions and “why JSX”? The Chief... Continue reading this interview experience

  9. Nov 01, 2023 Interview was an all day experience. The day started off with a simulator evaluation at CAE by DFW. We went into the E145 simulator, did basic climbs, turns, descents, an engine failure, and a visual approach. After CAE we went back to DAL for a station tour. After the tour and a lunch break we met for a welcome presentation about the company. First interview was the technical, we went over Jeppesen charts and were asked some IFR questions, after the Jepp charts we were quizzed on... Continue reading this interview experience

  10. Sep 12, 2023 Interview was similar to the gouge. Stay for the meet and greet. Interview was all day with four portions. HR, Technical, Meet the Chiefs, SIM. The SIM was only like 15 min and they were looking for if you can follow instructions. They understand you haven't flown larger planes, they are not looking for perfection. They want a personable person, get around the meet and greet, make yourself known. They paired us up for all portions of the... Continue reading this interview experience
