It was a full day event. Started at the Alaska Hub center. Greeted the recruiters and went into a room where they talked about Alaskaâ??s future. They are very passionate and do a great job selling you on why Alaska; definitely want you to be there. After the presentation, we divided into two groups for the CRM scenario sessions. That consisted of a brief tmay, your company, and something you accomplished this year. Then an actual tmaat scenario; dealers choice. Not overly complicated....

The interview was through the Pathways program as an experienced FO at Horizon. There were four of us, and we started with a panel interview. Each of us was given a question on a piece of paper that we flipped over and answered. My question was about a time I had to problem-solve as part of a team. Other questions included scenarios involving safety or security violations. After the panel, we moved into individual interviews that lasted about 30â??45 minutes. The only part that caught me... -

Pretty similar to what others have reported. Group interview to start. Then broken up into either 2v1 or 2v2 interviews with a Pilot and Talent Aquisition staffers. Mostly a vibe check. Is this someone I am willing to sit in a confined area with for 7 hours. Are they going to do they riight thing when it counts as far as standing up to employees or passengers that are not behaving like respectful adults. Some light tech questions but mostly CRM/decision making in various... -

To preface, this interview was part of the Horizon Air Pathways program. The interview is very straightforward and similar to what has been reported before. Started with a group interview that had a panel of four. Two pilots and two from talent acquisition. The group interview is just as told; there is a slip of paper in front of you, and one at a time, you are asked to read the question aloud and answer it. In my group, they were mostly softball questions. After the questions on the paper... -

Great Interview. Just like everyone said here. Did group interview first. Was ask one question then all of us went to waiting room. Next was the CRM exercise. Got LAX-SLC, FO was new with less than 100 hours. wind gust to 16kt and 300/1. Next was lunch. Followed by individual interviews. Lasted about 20-25 minutes. Was very straight forward. Everyone was really nice. Great... -

Very professional yet laid back interview. Everyone is very friendly. They want to hire you if theyâ??ve taken the time to fly you into SEA. By far the best interview experience Iâ??ve had. It felt more like we were there simply to get to know each other before starting than for an actual interview. Just answer everything honestly and be yourself. As others mentioned, daily schedule consists of a solid intro on Alaska/HAL, laid back group interview, basic CRM exercise, lunch, and lastly... -

Same as the other examples. 0815 start time. Starts with placing your logbook on a table then going into a room for a general presentation and session to get to know those doing the interviews (3 HR and 3 pilots). After that, we waited as a group. Someone would come grab two people at a time for the CRM exercise. This was followed by lunch, then individual interviews starting at 1200. It's my understanding interviews are ordered by those who have earlier flights to catch. If you're local,... -

I received a call for an interview after my second time applying. I was given a TBNT and applied again when then the window opened. I met the team at RTAG and received a call for an interview shortly after. The interview day started with an introduction of the company. After that, the group of 12 were split into 2 groups and answered scripted questions in front of a panel of pilots and HR reps. Each person selected a strip of paper that had a question. You were not able to look at the... -

Awesome interview experience. As described before I had a group interview question about a time I had to solve a business problem. CRM exercise I believe is there to get you to open up and show teamwork. Individual interviews are about 30-45min. I was asked what got me into aviation, why Alaska, walk me through your resume, tell me about a time I had to make a decision for safety, TMAAT someone broke SOP, tell me what qualities we should look for in pilots. Good... -

The day startes with all of us being in one room where the whole team introduce themselves. After that one chief pilot gives a company presentation and future plans for Alaska meanwhile they are checking your logbooks and PRD which you left outside. After that they devide the group in half and you answer two questions in front of the group. 1) TMAY 2) pick a random TMAT question from the paper strips. Once you finish the step 3 comes which is the CRM exercise. They make the pairs and you get... -

The day went exactly like the others on here said. The biggest recommendation is to be genuine and be respectful. They foot stomped it many times that they want to see the real you when you are answering questions. They are interviewing you to make sure you are the right fit for the company, so donâ??t try to game the system and answer how you think they want. Be...
