It was a full day event. Started at the Alaska Hub center. Greeted the recruiters and went into a room where they talked about Alaskaâ??s future. They are very passionate and do a great job selling you on why Alaska; definitely want you to be there. After the presentation, we divided into two groups for the CRM scenario sessions. That consisted of a brief tmay, your company, and something you accomplished this year. Then an actual tmaat scenario; dealers choice. Not overly complicated....

Awesome interview experience. As described before I had a group interview question about a time I had to solve a business problem. CRM exercise I believe is there to get you to open up and show teamwork. Individual interviews are about 30-45min. I was asked what got me into aviation, why Alaska, walk me through your resume, tell me about a time I had to make a decision for safety, TMAAT someone broke SOP, tell me what qualities we should look for in pilots. Good... -

The day startes with all of us being in one room where the whole team introduce themselves. After that one chief pilot gives a company presentation and future plans for Alaska meanwhile they are checking your logbooks and PRD which you left outside. After that they devide the group in half and you answer two questions in front of the group. 1) TMAY 2) pick a random TMAT question from the paper strips. Once you finish the step 3 comes which is the CRM exercise. They make the pairs and you get... -

The day went exactly like the others on here said. The biggest recommendation is to be genuine and be respectful. They foot stomped it many times that they want to see the real you when you are answering questions. They are interviewing you to make sure you are the right fit for the company, so donâ??t try to game the system and answer how you think they want. Be... -

All day event. If you travel from out of town you stay at a hotel that is about 2 blocks from the interview location. Overall a great experience. The interview team is very welcoming and they make it a point that they want to see the â??authentic you.â? Being prepared and having same pre-thought out answers helps, but they canâ??t sound/be rehearsed. They want to interview you, just donâ??t go in regurgitating what someone else told you to say. Day starts out with a presentation about... -

Fantastic interview experience. All day event as described by others. Be yourself relax and donâ??t forget to breathe. They are looking to make sure you are a good fit with Alaskaâ??s core values and culture. Interview was thorough and Iâ??m glad I prepared. Get your TMAT scenarios down but keep them natural. Super excited! If you make it to the blue sofa by the model 737 youâ??ve made... -

The interview was a whole day event. Group TMMAT session, everyone did a brief intro and one TMMAT question. CRM excercise, 2 candidates work as CA and FO walk thru a senario. And standard interview with one HR and one Chief pilot for about 30 mins. People at Alaska are really nice, just be yourself and tell them why you want to work for... -

The event lasted all day. It started in the morning on the second floor, where we were introduced to the companyâ??s history and its growth. Everyone we met was very professional and welcoming. Next, we moved on to the group interview. The candidates were split into two groups, and each of us received a random slip of paper with questions that we had to answer. After the group interview, we were paired with another candidate for a CRM exercise. Our scenario involved making an approach into... -

Asked me why do I want to work for Alaskan. I told him it was because of the location and the increased opportunities their merger with Hawaiian would afford them. Then looked at my resume and said it was very impressive with all of my background in aviation maintenance. However he then said that I need more turbine PIC. The minimum is 1,000 and there's no way around it. That was the end of the interview. All in all, it lasted about 5... -
