FREE Delta Air Lines pilot interview information and gouge

I was very happy with the overall experience. The Captain does a great job first thing in the morning of settling your nerves the best he can considering the circumstances. He gives you a summary of the day and the plans moving forward for Delta. Split into 2 groups. I had my HR interview in the morning. First group went at 8:30 and mine was at 10:30. I was really happy with the overall experience during the HR portion. First half was application questions and getting to know me. That was fairly straight forward. Signed certain portions of the application for accuracy and then got into the Tell me about yourself as well as a few other questions.  Second half were the TMAAT and WWYD. I only received one TMAAT and it was when I offered good customer service. I was surprised by my number of WWYD questions. But nothing I hadn’t prepared for. (view the study guide of this website).  Progresses to the point of pro standards.... Continue Reading this Interview Experience

  1. Mar 12, 2020 Gouge was spot on. HR wasn’t a problem. They asked 3 TMAT’s and 3 WWYD’s. All off the gouge. They brag about how their HR format has not changed in many years and they seem proud. Informed us at the start of the day with the welcome speech that this is uncharted waters for the industry with this economic slowdown due to COVID-19. Ultimately my overall score was not high enough on the technical side, but I was offered a 6 month reinvite. Study hard and have some stories... Continue reading this interview experience

  2. Mar 10, 2020 Experience was as other have posted about. The only real difference was that we were one of the last groups to interview and were issued a CJO that is valid for 18 months. BH did say that the gouges out there were not accurate- it doesn't matter what color your tie is, and they really don't expect you to know their core values either. Some interview questions I had never heard of.  (view the study guide of this website).  Remember to smile, and most importantly be yourself when... Continue reading this interview experience

  4. Mar 03, 2020 I arrived at the Delta training center around 7:10 AM to check in and get my badge and waited until 745 am and one of the assistants came over to collect your paperwork and gave us brief schedule about our day and we split into two groups and I took the test first cog and personality test were as expected but technical portion were harder than I expected I used online prep website but questions were not similar at all make sure to understand the concept rather than just studying the... 5. Mar 02, 2020 Flow of interview days was accurate as explained from previous gouge. Felt great leaving interview in morning, thought COG was like any other test I have taken since elementary school and then ended the day agitated that I put all my time in a prep studying to barely have any of it on test and felt that I surely didn't pass. I took off from work for about a month to study and had almost 100 pages of notes and feel less than 50% of question material was covered by the prep; less than quarter... 6. Mar 02, 2020 All of the of other submitted reports are spot on. The experience itself is as relaxing as it can be given the circumstances. I will just add one thing about bag storage as I do not remember reading much about it before my interview. You will not have a bag with you during the day. Whatever briefcase etc you bring with you will be put in a room that you have access to. On day two, your suitcase is allowed to be stored there as well as they recommend that you check out of the hotel before the... Continue reading this interview experience

  7. Feb 05, 2020 We first got to the visitors center around 7:30 a.m. We were then directed to the Pilot Selection Department, which is one building over. We were greeted by the administrative assistant to that department. She collected all the logbooks, and copies of the required documents. We then were shown the lounge area and met with the Director of Pilot Recruiting. Captain Holmes is a 75/76 Captain for Delta and made us feel at ease. The group was broken down into 2 groups. Group 1 went to the HR... Continue reading this interview experience

  8. Feb 04, 2020 The gouges on here are pretty spot on. Day One you start at 7:30 with a briefing about what to expect for the day. Everyone you meet is beyond professional and they really want you to succeed. They're aware of the gouges on here and various sites. The HR portion of the interview is very comfortable. Again, they want you to succeed. The portion on this website that was the most useful to me was the HR questions. Just look over them and think to yourself, how would I apply this to my airplane... 9. Jan 24, 2020 I arrived the day prior and stayed at the Hilton Airport Hotel. Our group went out to dinner the night before, and it helped calm the nerves for Interview day. A group of us met up the morning of the interview at 07:05 and walked over. It’s about a 5 minute walk from the Hilton. We checked in and got our temp name tags and went to a different holding area. At 7:45 a rep comes and gathers all your paperwork. Then you are walked to a conference room where Mr Holmes will put you at ease... Continue reading this interview experience

  10. Jan 23, 2020 Very close to what everyone else was saying. They seem like they want to hire everyone they bring In. Did the testing in the morning. The HR was painless, great group of interviewers. Intro, app question, very light comments about my speeding tickets (I have 5, list them, they know you are a safe aviator). Why I choose my college. How my training was different from job to job. 2 tmaat, 2 wwyd. Next day did the mmpi 2. BE HONEST! 5 people had to retake it for being to positive. Answer...
