As expected the day began at exactly 0645 with the shuttle ride from the La Quinta hotel to Envoy headquarters. Upon arrival we were greeted and escorted into a room to sign in and place our lunch orders. We were then taken to a conference room upstairs where they took our log books and the original documents which they had requested copies of via email a couple weeks before the interview. We then sat through a presentation with a recruiter telling us about the company while our documents were being reviewed. They then began to pull us out of the room individually for combined HR and technical interviews. The HR questions included the usual “tell me about a time when” and “what would you do if the captain...” questions. (view the study guide of this website). The technical questions were rapid fire. Know... Continue Reading this Interview Experience

  2. Apr 11, 2024 I went in with just under 500 qualifying 121.436 hours. When I arrived I asked one of the Pilot interviewers if I could apply a military conversion (.2-.3 per sortie) to cross the threshold to qualify for the experience bonus being offered. After asking, he told me that would be acceptable and then escorted me out of the conference room we were all waiting in to be called for an interview. Next thing I knew I was being offered the experience bonus and asked to drug test/provide finger... Continue reading this interview experience

  3. Apr 09, 2024 Interview process was smooth. The information on the study guide is extremely accurate. If you study this and know your JEPP charts you will do... Continue reading this interview experience

  4. Apr 08, 2024 The gauge from everyone on here was pretty spot on. Prepare for a long day, but the interview portion only feels like it is 10 minutes long (it's closer to 30 mins). Know your Jepp plates. I recommend looking at the plates for Envoy's bases (DFW, ORD, PHX, MIA). I tripped up on stuff but corrected myself and had good conversation with the interviewers. Don't stress it too... Continue reading this interview experience

  5. Apr 04, 2024 6 of 7 of us selected. 1/1 cadet selected. Class dates are beginning to mid summer right now. The study guide was great. Remember your ATP written test subjects & questions. Study Jepp chart symbols (airport, SID, en route, STAR, approach), study for the ATP written, and you'll have all the tools you'll... Continue reading this interview experience

  6. Apr 03, 2024 As most others have said, the interview was by the book. Just do your best to relax use the study guide here, and know the Jepp charts. Technical question were rapid fire, but just take your time to answer and be confident in your answers. The worst part of the whole thing was the hours of waiting in anticipation both before and after the interview. The good news is if you made it through, they will give you a CJO before you leave the building. Good... Continue reading this interview experience

  7. Apr 02, 2024 Everything in the gouge and previous experiences has been spot on for Envoy Air. On the interview day, all interviewees were picked up by a 6:20 am van from the hotel and driven to Envoy headquarters. We were guided to a room on the first floor, where we sat and chatted for a while before an HR staff member took attendance and breakfast orders. (Get the breakfast burritos, coffee, and cookies; you're set for the day!) Paperwork, logbook review, and presentations lasted from 7:30-9:30 am... Continue reading this interview experience

  8. Apr 01, 2024 Excellent interview. Didn't feel rushed by the captain...... he actually said "take all the time you need." Questions were straight-forward.....didn't feel as if they were trying to trick me. KNOW EVERY ITEM IN THE TECHNICAL QUESTIONS ON THIS SITE. It also will pay to know the Jepp legend cold. I hammered on all of them - I don't mean to brag but...... I knew everything that was asked. Review holding speeds and entries. Lots of time waiting in a conference room.....long day. Nice... 9. Mar 28, 2024 You may feel how they work! Very organized and professional and caring applicants. If you study with all the questions here, there’s no problem and plus being your self. And I was lucky to have amazing applicants to have good small talk to be relaxed while waiting the process. Good luck... Continue reading this interview experience

  10. Mar 28, 2024 Nothing outside of what has already been stated on the site. Study the questions on the site and it helps a lot. They asked some regulatory questions, (view the study guide of this website).  Review rhe chart legends they supply, that seemed like most of the technical question focus. The chart review was scenario based, so questions about speed limits were given as “you are here at x,000 feet, what is the speed limit”. Was a nice day experience and a nice group to wait...
