We've Aviation Professionals Prepare for their Interviews!
  • The interview process was very straightforward. We started off in a small room where we handed over all of our documents. They took our documents into a separate room, and they guided us upstairs to a large conference room, where they told us all about the company, after that we waited for about 30 minutes and they pulled us down downstairs one by one to do interviews . They started off my interview with some basic technical questions, (view the study guide of this website).  Then we transitioned to two or three HR questions....

Interview day went as expected. Document/logbook review, breakfast burrito, HR presentation, hang out and wait to be called for interview. 1 pilot interviewer and 1 HR interviewer. HR Questions, (view the study guide of this website).   Tech questions: started on airport diagram, then departure, jepp en route high/low, arrival, approach. Decoded a metar/TAF. Study the technical questions on here and you will be solid. 8/8 applicants received the offer. If successful, drug test and...

The entire experience was the same as described previously in other trip reports so I will hit the wavetops here. There were 8 candidates at the hotel and one local that met us at the HQ. We were all on the 620 scheduled van. Get downstairs early--we were loading at 610. Once we got to the HQ, they had us all pool into a waiting room and requested we gathered our logbook, passport, medical, pilot certificate, ATP/CTP and written results if you do not have an ATP, and your mil aviation...

Interview was as described on the this website, roughly 2.0 hours consisting of background, flight times for 30,60,90,360 days - in depth about Jepp charts, METARs, IFR regs, and a scenario about a passenger with a medical emergency about 1 hour out from the destination, and systems relating to an aircraft I'm most familiar with (Cessna 172). study the website and all will go...

Started the day taking the 6:20 van to HQ (get to the hotel lobby around 6:00). I highly recommend grabbing a quick snack from hotel breakfast to bring with just in case because when we arrived at HQ, they let us know we would be the first and only group this year NOT receiving breakfast because their kitchen was closed. Not all applicants were there yet but they started grabbing our documents to get started. Get there early even if youâ??re local. They want to start as soon as possible....

The day started early in the lobby of the hotel. The shuttle is at 0620 but I would highly recommend getting to the lobby by 0600, they like to leave extra early. Got to HQ, met with some of the recruiters/interviewers before we got a rundown of what the day would look like. Signed some forms, ordered breakfast, then upstairs to review all paperwork/documents before an Envoy company presentation with our breakfast. After this was the interview, they plucked us in groups of three where we...

Most of the information for this interview was the same as everyone else said previously. Know your Jepp plates and basic knowledge from Private, Instrument and Commercial with some part 121 operations. Holding speeds SID, STAR, ILS Approaches and when you can descend to minimums. Know everything for Low in route Charts. If you basically study the Jeppesen document that they send you you should be good. HR was same as reported in earlier interviews. Nothing to worry about just be honest and...

Experience was very much what has been stated here several times; went down to the van at 5:45, rest of ground showed up around 5:55 - there were 7 of us in total, however 1 person ended up oversleeping but had his own car and drove. So 8 applicants in total, 2 being cadets. Checked in and went to ensure paperwork was signed and logbooks were handed over, then all 8 were moved up to a conference room. After an HR person gave us a 35 minute rundown of the company, one person was then pulled...

Experience matched those described in the other testimonials. The study guides were spot on. Six individuals showed up for the FO interview; one was dismissed after reviewing the documents. Five of us were interviewed, and three of us received pre-employment...

The entire day was just as described in other posts. There were 7 of us total, 4 FO and 3 cadets. Once we got to the HQ they had us sign in, took our documents, and ordered breakfast. From there we were taken upstairs for the HR brief that lasted about an hour. Then we waited for a bit and someone came and grabbed four of us, brought us downstairs for the interview. The interview was very straightforward -- many rapid fire tech questions and 5 HR questions sprinkled in, all per the study...

I had a question I do not remember from the gouge, (view the study guide of this website).   My only other recommendation is study your METAR/TAF codes, I had a pretty complex one and stumbled through it. That's the one spot I could have studied...

  11. After subscribing, I realized the site has a large number of recent interview experiences from actual applicants. It gave me a much clearer picture of the question patterns, difficulty level, and overall interview flow for each airline
