The day starts when the shuttle picks you up at 0620. Be sure to ask the desk when you check in about shuttle to Envoy and sign up for a time if needed. When you arrive at HQ you will make a left and sit in a waiting area. Someone from recruitment will come in and collect your logbooks and documents (basically a ramp check with logbooks included). Take great care to follow all of their instructions in the various emails and bring all required docs. They also will take breakfast orders at this time, where you have the golden opportunity to order the legendary breakfast burrito. They then took us upstairs for a company briefing, pay, benefits, etc. They work hard to make you feal at ease and even offer some interview strategies. They like the KISS approach; do not over complicate you answers! After the presentation and some waiting, they pull you for your interview. It is done in a...

My interview experience was great! The envoy team is phenomenal at making you feel comfortable and welcomed. They often lighten the mood by making jokes with one another. My experience throughout the day was extremely similar to what everyone else had shared about their experience for the day of the interview. The interview itself was 30 to 45 minutes of HR questions and technical questions. As others have repeatedly shared, Aviation interviews is a great tool to help you be successful in...

Interviewing with Envoy was a great experience overall, as others here have said, the team is very welcoming and they do a great job of making the day less stressful. If you follow the preparation on this website and are familiar with IFR concepts, then you will be well-prepared during the interview. The interview consisted of rapid-fire technical questions with HR questions in between, and overall was 45 minutes at the absolute most. The best tip I can give for this interview is to remember...

Day started at 6:20 hotel shuttle picked us up and took us to HQ, gave our documents for review, burrito for breakfast and a nice intro of the company, everybody was really nice, easy the tension with jokes, then moved to a room just to sit and wait for them to call one by one for the interview, one pilot one Hr, technical questions basic IfR then move to jeppsen (airport diagram BOS, Sid, low chart, star and Ils DEN) , hr question straight forward they just wants to know you so be nice. If...

The Envoy interview is an excellent experience. I highly recommend you study this study guide in depth. Jeppesen charts are provided to you on an iPad and the interviewer asks questions in the order a flight would go (Departure / enroute / arrival). If you study hard and prepare it's a no brainer. The interview is tough enough that you will miss at least one or two, but straight forward enough that if you put the proper amount of time and effort in you will do great. Know your basic...

This website was spot on. Breakfast burrito is absolutely killer. The entire Envoy team made the day such a pleasant and fun experience, and really took the stress out of it. I think I spent half of my interview session laughing with the HR rep and pilot and just having a good time talking to each other. Super cool people and company. HR is so straightforward, no "tell me about a time" crap. Just want to know who you are, what you like to do in your free time, and why you want to...

The other interview experiences were spot on! Know Jep charts, the technical questions are extremally fair. There was no question that I wouldn't expect myself to understand when arriving to indoc. I used the study guide on this sight and did fine but I also used Jep charts often. Know the 10-9 page... Takeoff mins, RVR, Runway details, etc. Don't be lazy know it all, be able to read a METAR and TAF and say if you need alternates for take off or your destination. Enroute, Arrival and...

My interview experience was exactly as stated on this website. I was local, so I drove myself to the interview and arrived early enough to walk in with all of the shuttle guys/gals. On my day I believe we had 10 pilots interviewing. The recruitment staff were all fantastic and did a good job at making you feel comfortable. 9 of us made it to the interviews ( 1 must have had issues with paperwork ). The breakfast burrito was ordered by everybody and did not disappoint. During paper work...

Everything is exactly as reported here. The HR and technical questions were spot on so study those. Envoy flew me out to Dallas and put me up in the La Quinta south west of the airport. When you check in they should know to schedule you for the shuttle, but just make sure you’re on the one that gets you to their headquarters with enough time before the start of the interviews. When we arrived the next morning, we turned in all our documents and logbooks and then they took us upstairs...

The day was exactly as others have described. Shuttle pick up at 6:20- took us to Envoy HQ. Asked us to present our documents and sent us to a waiting room. Called in for the interview and sent back to waiting room. Once everyone completed their interview, they pulled us out one by one to inform us of their decision. Once that’s completed, you take a drug test and submit your finger prints. Overall, enjoyable experience! In the interview, they said they wanted us to be there, they want...

The study guide is very appropriate. If you study this guide and study the Jepp charts/legends, you will be prepared on the knowledge side. The timeline that others have reported is accurate, as far as how the day flows. My personal profile for getting hired: I've been Air Force flight crew for 13 years; nine of those years as a navigator, and that's why I'm flying for a regional first. I am not a CFI and 90% of my flying has been Air Force. I fly an Air Force 767-200. Most of my study...
