I had a great interview experience with Envoy. They did a fantastic job conducting the whole interview process and everyone there was welcoming and friendly. I do believe that if they have called you in for an interview they are planning on offering you the job and it is truly yours to lose. With that being said however, I would highly recommend preparing like it was a checkride or a major airline interview. Show up well dressed (nothing too flashy) and conduct yourself like anyone you meet in the building could decide whether you get hired or not (be professional). For HR I and the technical I used the study guide from this website which was very accurate as to what they ask you (especially the first 100 questions). I also studied the Jepp user guide. I would also recommend practicing briefing Jepp plates in order of a flight. for example: start at ORD, read METAR/TAF (do you need alternate) brief taxi route, hotspots LAHSO, takeoff mins etc, then brief the SID, then enroute chart, MORA, MOCA, MEA, etc, then STAR...

This web site is exactly as mentioned, it was a great experience and they do their best to make you feel at ease on a stressful day. The entire staff is very personable and they are looking for you to be the same. If you know the information on the study guide and put things in your own words you will be fine. Don't be a robot just make conversation with them. My interview wasn't perfect. There were questions I didn't know the answer to and I simply stated that and moved on. My... -

Everything was exactly as laid out in the Study guide and other experiences. I got asked all questions that were in the study guide. Let me tell you it has nothing to do with your technical answers. Every single person that walks in there is a qualified pilot and has the ability to fly a plane. Its based on if they like you as person or... -

Arrived the day before on a positive space flight which the company provided. Interview was 7:30a the next day in Irving, TX. The shuttle picked us up at 6:30a 10 minutes late but still arrived on time to HQ. Made a left into the building to a room where we signed in and ordered our food from a wide selection of items. I got the breakfast burrito and found it to be quite delicious. After handing the recruiters our documents, we went upstairs into a conference room where we were given our... -

Interview was very relaxed, be yourself and be personable. There were 9 in our interview group, a couple of us got together in the hotel lobby the night before and ran through some questions. We all felt like it helped calm the nerves a bit to where we could sleep half way decent the night before, shuttle was late the morning of but got us there before 7, paperwork, docs, and breakfast order then we went upstairs for the presentation and q&a with 2 HR reps who were very personable and... -

You’ll airline in before interview day and take a shuttle to the hotel. The shuttle will be other hotel guests but majority of the shuttle was pilot, flight attendants and mechanics for Envoy interviews. Interview day starts 6:20am shuttle. Submit documents, order breakfast. After that you listen to a presentation from HR about the company and benefits. Pull you three at a time downstairs for individual interviews with a pilot & HR recruiter. Given the open to start with tech or... -

The team is absolutely amazing. They're a great bunch of guys and gals with fantastic mustaches--not the girls, but you get it. The breakfast burrito is garbage btw in my opinion. We all got it because of this site and it was mediocre at best. But the team of recruiters was second to none. They joke with you and make you feel like they're just friendly pilots you've known for years. We had 9 people in the group. 4 Cadets and 5 commercial FO candidates. 3 cadets made it and 4 FOs. I had a... -

Great experience with the Envoy team! Like has already been said they make it a very comfortable environment, but make sure to engage with the Envoy reps and the other interviewees. Being yourself and putting forth the effort to be personable is key. Triple check you have all the required paperwork and that it’s all organized. If you study the study guide on here the interview should be a breeze. Everything they asked was straightforward and stuff that any instrument rated pilot should... -

My overall pilot interview went same as of other pilots. Pick up early morning at 06.20 am from hotel. Don’t forget to sign in to shuttle bus on previous night. When we arrived to Envoy office, they quickly collect our documents for check. Meanwhile we ordered breakfast. My recommendation order is famous burrito. Then went up to briefing room and showed presentation about company. Be there social with everybody, it seems to me they like it. And ask any questions if you have during... -

The beginning was like everyone said. We started with the HR questions, did about two of them, then moved into some technical questions. After that, we came back to HR, did a few more, and then returned to technical questions. The HR questions were directly from here. They asked what V1 and V2 are, and what you would do if you lost an engine precisely at V1. They also asked multi-engine questions, like what is a critical engine, which engine is critical on most GA multi-engine aircraft, and... -

Represent yourself well from the time you get to your departing airport - eyes are on you even the day before your interview by folks outside the building, it seems. They must have a headcount or something, because the van left a few minutes early once we were all in the hotel lobby by 6:15am (I recommend being down there and ready no later than 6am). Make sure you've done every single thing you can to have all your documentation and logbooks in perfect order. Don't lean on any flight...
