We've Aviation Professionals Prepare for their Interviews!
  • The interview process was very straightforward. We started off in a small room where we handed over all of our documents. They took our documents into a separate room, and they guided us upstairs to a large conference room, where they told us all about the company, after that we waited for about 30 minutes and they pulled us down downstairs one by one to do interviews . They started off my interview with some basic technical questions, (view the study guide of this website).  Then we transitioned to two or three HR questions....

The day started early in the lobby of the hotel. The shuttle is at 0620 but I would highly recommend getting to the lobby by 0600, they like to leave extra early. Got to HQ, met with some of the recruiters/interviewers before we got a rundown of what the day would look like. Signed some forms, ordered breakfast, then upstairs to review all paperwork/documents before an Envoy company presentation with our breakfast. After this was the interview, they plucked us in groups of three where we...

Most of the information for this interview was the same as everyone else said previously. Know your Jepp plates and basic knowledge from Private, Instrument and Commercial with some part 121 operations. Holding speeds SID, STAR, ILS Approaches and when you can descend to minimums. Know everything for Low in route Charts. If you basically study the Jeppesen document that they send you you should be good. HR was same as reported in earlier interviews. Nothing to worry about just be honest and...

Experience was very much what has been stated here several times; went down to the van at 5:45, rest of ground showed up around 5:55 - there were 7 of us in total, however 1 person ended up oversleeping but had his own car and drove. So 8 applicants in total, 2 being cadets. Checked in and went to ensure paperwork was signed and logbooks were handed over, then all 8 were moved up to a conference room. After an HR person gave us a 35 minute rundown of the company, one person was then pulled...

The entire day was just as described in other posts. There were 7 of us total, 4 FO and 3 cadets. Once we got to the HQ they had us sign in, took our documents, and ordered breakfast. From there we were taken upstairs for the HR brief that lasted about an hour. Then we waited for a bit and someone came and grabbed four of us, brought us downstairs for the interview. The interview was very straightforward -- many rapid fire tech questions and 5 HR questions sprinkled in, all per the study...

Took shuttle at 620 from airport to interview to start at 730 am turned in log books gave breakfast orders then went to a meeting to learn about Envoy as a company After the meeting we were called down to interview with 1 pilot and 1 HR person, I alternated HR and technical questions to break it up - 5 HR questions technical questions were rapid fire. All the questions were questions from the study guide posted on here. 1 question I did receive that I did not recognize is what is an example...

The interview experiences I read on here were pretty much spot on. The initial paperwork requirements were a bit cumbersome, and a few of their instructions/attachments had discrepancies. I went with the conservative interpretation of the requirements, sent in the paperwork and they emailed me back to add two military documents. Overall don't stress too much with the paperwork, they know you're human and it may not be perfect. They'll give you an opportunity to fix anything if needed! As far...

The interview was very straight forward. You're interview starts the second you walk through the building doors, so put on a smile and be kind and respectful to everyone that you encounter. You'll go to a room with the rest of the interviewees. Take this chance to get to know the people you are interviewing with. The recruiters will gather your documents, and then take everyone upstairs to go over paperwork, have breakfast, then do a presentation on the company. Ask questions and show...

Hey all, just want to say thanks for everyone posting their experience it helped me out a lot. Same format as follows - show at Envoy HQ around 6:40am, no later than 7:30, HR presentation, break up into groups (there were seven of us total all FOs), then one group interviews while the others wait. Interview is 5 HR and the rest as on this site - Jeppesen symbology and restrictions or altitudes, V1, V2, 91.175, ARROW, 10-9 & 10-9A pages. If you have your interview coming up simply...

Interview went as described in the guide. We started as a group of 6, one got held back and possibly sent home before the HR presentation and document review with the pilots. Before going upstairs they took our logbooks and documents and then we went upstairs. The doc review takes some time everyone needs to correct small things. Then we did the HR presentation. After that we waited in the conference room for our interviews. They came and got us and started the interviews. They gave me the...

Everyone was very nice and wanted us to be relaxed. I have been recently furloughed so when i spoke with recruiters over the past year at conferences they were changing their hiring requirements for those with previous 121 time which is why I believe it took so long to get back to me for an interview. Interview was very straight forward and accurate to the previous submitted technical questions. I was asked airspace dimensions and airspeeds. we walked through an arrival as well as the Boston...

  11. After subscribing, I realized the site has a large number of recent interview experiences from actual applicants. It gave me a much clearer picture of the question patterns, difficulty level, and overall interview flow for each airline
