We've Aviation Professionals Prepare for their Interviews!
  • The interview process was very straightforward. We started off in a small room where we handed over all of our documents. They took our documents into a separate room, and they guided us upstairs to a large conference room, where they told us all about the company, after that we waited for about 30 minutes and they pulled us down downstairs one by one to do interviews . They started off my interview with some basic technical questions, (view the study guide of this website).  Then we transitioned to two or three HR questions....

The interview day was exactly as described in previous interviews, so much so that I debated even writing one. The day started bright and early, I was a local guy but I met the others from the hotel in the Envoy HQ lobby around 6:45 or so. What we all found interesting about our group of applicants was that we were all off the street FOs, none of us were cadets. To start the day off we were sat in one room where they called us up to collect our logbooks and certificates. They did not need...

Interview experience was exactly as explained by others here. My class had 5 candidates. 4/5 were hired. 3 were cadets and 2 FOâ??s (including me and another candidate). Shuttle picked us up and was already on its way by 610AM. Just be downstairs by 6am. We came in they took our order for breakfast and then took our documents to be checked. They were very relaxed. After that we had a HR presentation where they told us all the benefits of working for Envoy. After that they put us in a room...

The interview was pretty relaxed. Left the hotel in the shuttle at 6:20 with two other candidates, one was a cadet and another an off the street FO interview like me. We met two other candidates at Envoy's headquarters so there were 5 of us total. We went over things on the paperwork that I hadn't signed and asked me to bring up my logbook and personal documents. I brought copies of everything but they didn't need them. The interview itself was almost exactly what was listed on the study...

Flew in the evening before and was picked up in the morning around 6:20 for the interview. Everyone at headquarters was extremely friendly and they did a great job introducing the company and talking perks of the job. There were 5 of us applicants total (3 FO, 2 Cadets). After the introduction and some basic paperwork corrections we were then sent to a room where we waited for our interview. I was the last to be interviewed and everything from the interview was on the interview prep. Five HR...

So you arrive the day before and take the shuttle to your hotel. The van took forever for a few others in my group but it came fast for me. Got to the hotel checked in got food and went to sleep. Had to be up and in the lobby by 620am but most of us got down around 610am. We all loaded up in the shuttle and we to the headquarters. Once we got there we escorted into a room when a notary she came and ask us to sign this book and then took our documents. Once that was over we went to another...

The interview was straightforward five HR questions, I canâ??t remember the number of questions asked in the practical, however, I can tell you entire interview took about 45 minutes. Study the gouge here is pretty accurate and make sure you are proficient with Jeppesen Charts, the practical portion of this interview was heavy on airport diagram symbology, 10â??9 form, SID, STAR, H/L altitude enroute charts. Make sure you revisit multi engine questions, (view the study guide of this...

Interview was as described, 5 HR and multiple IFR technical questions. For the technical questions itâ??s basically a flow from taxi to take off to enroute and land. So know the 10-9 page. C055 and C078, these two ops spec will teach you how to understand alternates and when you can depart 121 when Wx is below standard. I would jepp and studying them. Study approach plates, airport diagrams and arrivals. And the rest is all rote memory. Good...

Everything about the interview was as described in the gouge, which made the day feel very predictable and manageable. Everyone at Envoy was extremely friendly and professional, and my overall impression was that they genuinely want you to succeed. The atmosphere was supportive and well-organized. The technical portion focused on private, instrument, and commercial-level knowledge. Nothing felt overly obscure or unfair â?? it was more about demonstrating a good understanding of fundamentals...

Interview day went as expected. Document/logbook review, breakfast burrito, HR presentation, hang out and wait to be called for interview. 1 pilot interviewer and 1 HR interviewer. HR Questions, (view the study guide of this website).   Tech questions: started on airport diagram, then departure, jepp en route high/low, arrival, approach. Decoded a metar/TAF. Study the technical questions on here and you will be solid. 8/8 applicants received the offer. If successful, drug test and...

Absolutely no surprises from the gouge. Very relaxed and welcoming. Get the steak burrito for breakfast 6/6 FOs received CJO and 2/2 cadets received CJO (view the study guide of this website).  Then 5 HR questions (what do I want out of the company, tell me something not on resume, a few others I canâ??t remember but weâ??re in the study guide then done. Overall about a 20-25 minute...
