We've Aviation Professionals Prepare for their Interviews!
  • The interview process was very straightforward. We started off in a small room where we handed over all of our documents. They took our documents into a separate room, and they guided us upstairs to a large conference room, where they told us all about the company, after that we waited for about 30 minutes and they pulled us down downstairs one by one to do interviews . They started off my interview with some basic technical questions, (view the study guide of this website).  Then we transitioned to two or three HR questions....

My experience at the Envoy interview was pretty much exactly what people describe on AviationInterviews.com. I got there around 7 a.m. and we were put in a room where they collected our documents like our driverâ??s license and passport. We hung out there until about 7:30, then they took us upstairs to a big conference room. Alex introduced himself and explained how the interview day was going to work. After that, a lady from HR gave a presentation about Envoy and the company. They brought...

The interview process was no different than any other on this website. There were 12 of us total, 7 got the offer. Tech questions: Lowest takeoff vis if op specs allow the minimum, ARP, rotating beacon, pick a runway how long is it & does it have a displaced threshold, what does EMAS stand for, can you continue if vis drops before the faf. Plates I was shown all came from Oâ??hare (ohare 9 dep, taxi diagrams, an ils, and the trttle arrival). There were a handful of questions but mostly...

Interview was exactly as previous gouges' stated. 10 total applicants with 2 being cadets. 8 total hired. You sit with an HR rep and a pilot. Both will ask questions going back and forth between the two. Decode a fairly easy METAR until I didnâ??t know what the codes meant (I think I stopped at the precipitation levels). I was given a TAF with weather that worsened into the departure period and was asked if we needed an alternate. I was asked about part 121 alternate minimums. Later was...

Debated on writing this because the gouges here are already spot on. No questions that weren't in here already.  It really depends on who is interviewing you. All chart questions were about DFW, (view the study guide of this website). Then HR questions.  If you know the study guide questions and have done a little HR prep you will be totally fine. My group was 10 total (7 ots and 3 cadet) 5 ots and all 3 cadets selected. 2 ots did not get in. Both 135 guys and both wore light...

The hotel phone number wasnâ??t workingâ??I called three times. I took a $30 Uber to the hotel around 1600 and was in the lobby by 0600 for the shuttle, which notoriously leaves 13 minutes early, right at 0607. We arrived on campus by 0633 and were ushered into a small waiting room off to the left of the reception area. We made small talk until 0700, when a pilot/recruiter introduced himself and explained how the day would go. Two HR reps came in next. They were joking around with each...

I thought I did well but got TBNT. However it was very professional and enjoyed the experience. I have always wanted to work for them and will definitely reapply later on. 30 min interview consists of: Metar knowledge, Identifying wether you need an alternate based on TAF, Holding speeds, Standard holds and entries, Calculating TOD based of required altitude restrictions, Stages of a thunderstorm, what is an EMAS, Does viz or ceiling control continuation of an approach, What if viz dropped...

Envoy Air's recruitment department is by far the most professional and welcoming of any other company I've applied to. They answer the phone, guide you through application questions, and are eager to help you get through the door. The interview day was great. You go in early, review the documents, forms of ID, and meet some of the people you will spend the rest of the day with. They then take you into a conference room to go over Envoy Air company stuff: pay, reserve, bases, aircraft,...

Was the same as listed on this website 5 hr questions tell me something not on your resume etc. all very easy hr questions. Then on to rapid fire technical questions make sure you know your jepp plates(stars, sids , airport diagram, and approach plates). Study the packet they send and have someone quiz you and you will be fine. This was a very relaxed interview they are just seeing if you are someone they can sit next to for 3 days in...

I was very impressed by Envoy's Recruitment Team and the professionalism they show to the applicants. They know it is stressful and do everything they can to try to calm your nerves. Got down to the lobby around 5:50 with some of the other interviewees for the 6:20 shuttle. There were 8 OTS FO and 3 Cadets. Got to HQ and started taking out documents while waiting for the notary to arrive. After collecting docs and taking breakfast orders, up to the conference room where we had a HR...

Everything from previous gouges and study guides will over prepare you for the interview. They are as professional and friendly as everyone has stated. I will say though, the burrito is â??fineâ? and a little bit over hyped. Then Hr questions and then Tech questions, (view the study guide of this website).  Shown PHX airport diagram- asked questions.  Shown a print out of a High en route chart- asked about airspace classifications.  Shown an ILS approach- loc freq? DA?...

  11. There’s a lot of technical information to study so highlighting what each company prioritizes was extremely helpful.
