The JSX team truly is a wonderful group of people. They make you feel immediately at ease and comfortable in their presence and they really do care about the camaraderie among their team and creating a family environment. The interview itself was pretty straight forward. I was in a group of 6, and each of us was paired with another pilot of similar experience for the chief pilot and technical portions. HR portion was done individually. For the chief pilot portion, they just want to get to know you, your aviation experience and background, and why you want to work for JSX. It really just feels like a vibe check. Can they spend time with you as an individual while flying or working with you and enjoy that connection? And are you a good fit...

This is definitely a great culture to work in. They are growing fast. The interviews are low pressure and as advertised in all the reports here. If you are very low flight time come prepared with everything they ask you to bring. Study the questions on this site. Think about all your answers and how you would say them. The questions here are what is asked. Not all, obviously. If you are an old codger 121pilot like me, they need experienced pilots. You should have no issues with the answers.... -

Interview was conducted by Chief pilot and assistant Chief, Head of Standards, and H.R. Five of us were interviewing for Quick Upgrade Captain as we were all retired Part 121. H.R. talked to us about training and pay giving us an all-around layout of the company. First interview was with H.R. and were questions that you have seen already on prior interview comments. Next interview was Head of Standards, nothing technical for us as we were all experienced. If you are interviewing for the... -

Great Experience! The whole recruiting team is friendly and genuinely want to get to know you. Broke in three discussion, one about HR questions. Talk with the chief pilots, and technical questions. Went to lunch afterward and then did the tour of the headquarters. Overall great experience! I would highly recommend applying to JSX. They seem like a great... -

A truly great experience all the way around. Was invited in for the interview event which was to take place over the course of two days at a hotel (they let you pick which day you would like to come in). We were in groups of 9 applicants, with an 8am and 11am ground each day. Upon arriving, we were ushered toward a waiting van which took us to JSX headquarters. We were given the full tour and then came back for a JSX paid lunch at the hotel. Afterwards, they took us to a conference room... -

Interview process went as previously described on AviationInterviews, so Iâ??ll try to add some other valuable info. I met with a recruiter at the RTAG convention and that was what I believe to be the differentiator between myself and a lot of other applicants. This was the second convention I talked to JSX at. I believe the hiring event was the first since conference season started for the E-145, and the plan is to hire about 10 a month for the next 6 months. There were a total of 36... -

Great experience. They pay for your flights to Dallas into DFW or DAL. Interviews were with HR by yourself, was asked 4 questions only, interview with Chief Pilots paired with another candidate, and the technical with Director of Flight Operations. It was all very relaxed with lots of laughs throughout the experience and interviews. Technical side matched exactly what was on AviationInterviews as well as HR side. Interview with Chief Pilots was tell me about yourself and how you got into... -

Overall, great experience. The previous trip reports were spot on and will get you prepared. The only big difference is there were no socials at the end of the day. Background: I have been trying to secure an interview for about a year with JSX. From what I perceived, there is a lot of planned growth for JSX and hiring outlook is positive. Specifically on the East Coast. Logistics: You book your flight through their travel app. It is strait forward. Recommend booking to Dallas Love as it is... -

I was paired with another candidate â?? in my case, a CFI/CFII and MEI. My interview began with the technical portion. I felt the technical questions covered a wide range of topics that didnâ??t necessarily correlate with one another. We were asked about weather, multiengine concepts (including propeller systems), Jeppesen charts, briefing an approach, and a few other subjects. The HR portion wasnâ??t a traditional Q&A. It was more of a conversation about yourself, what youâ??re... -

The entire interview process at JSX was smooth and straightforward. Beginning with a HR phone screening with an overview of their operations and introductions. From there I had an online interview broken into three 30min blocks. First being a more in depth presentation of pay, schedules, and benefits. Secondly a get to know you with two chief pilots, and finally a technical portion. Questions matched those on the study guide and I received an offer the same... -

Interview started at 08:00 AM. Met HR in lobby of hotel and was escorted to large meeting room in the hotel. HR went thru the benefits that JSX offers and their growth plans. Really a nice presentation. We were paired off in two’s and completed the HR section, a get to know you and a technical section. Because of my background I believe I was not asked technical questions just mostly about my career and who I am. Many of my friends I flew with at a major airline for many years are...
