I received a call early this year after applying in the fall. The phone screening was about 15 minutes and consisted of questions regarding my logbook totals, interest in Republic, and checkride failures. Interview was scheduled for this month. Overall I had an awesome interview experience. Republic makes you feel like you are part of the team from the moment you step on the shuttle to head to the Brickyard Hotel. The interview day starts with a tour of the new HQ which is super impressive. This is followed by a presentation and then a Q&A with the pilots who will be conducting the interviews. They initially call for a phone screening and this is more crucial than what they lead you to believe they started to and the conversation/screening and asked if I had any questions. I had a couple that I wanted to ask them and they liked my questions and my interests in the company so they offered me an interview date. I flew in the night before and had an excellent overall experience. Despite multiple airline reroutes due to weather cancellations, everything went smoothly, including a ride to the Brickyard Hotel. I arrived around 11:00 PM, and the hotel staff was exceptionally friendly and accommodating. They offered access to a printer in the lobby for last-minute documents, which I used to print my resume. This was truly an incredible experience with Republic. It is said a lot, but the culture they have built there is something special. I flew in a bit later and arrived to the hotel at 7pm. (Pro tip) travel in something youâ??re comfortable arriving to their facilities in. Professional attire. You donâ??t need to go as far as wearing a suit all day on the plane but I would wear something nice.
