FREE Republic Airline pilot interview information and gouge

Read Page 1 ... a few Republic pilots. We had many opportunities to ask any questions we had during the presentation. After the presentation they started calling us one by one to the interview rooms for our interviews. The first ones to get called were applicants who had earlier flights out of Indianapolis back home. I was interviewed by one HR person and one Republic Captain. The HR portion lasted about 10 minutes.  The technical portion lasted about 15 minutes. (view the study guide of this website). I was not asked to brief the... 1. Jun 29, 2022 Really great interview experience. I was unable to meet in person because my work schedule did not allow, so they were kind enough to do a virtual interview. I sent all of my documents, pictures of the last few pages of each logbook, and my endorsements ahead of time. HR and the pilot were both really nice. Started with confirming checkride failures and any other FAA actions. Then a few HR type questions, and some tell me a time when questions, then onto some technical questions, read a... 2. Jun 24, 2022 Most of my experience has been military flight time consisting of UPT , a handful of TDY’s (trips) and a full deployment. I over-prepare for everything and that is what I did for this interview. I would wear a suit if you were wondering if that would be appropriate. They bus you across the street to the training center at 730. At that time, we checked in waited to meet HR representatives. They eventually gave us a brief tour and presentation about benefits of the company. For military... Continue reading this interview experience

  3. Jun 21, 2022 Republic Airways made a great first impression. Everyone at the facility was friendly and the interview process was smooth. There were 11 candidates there for an interview and we were called in one by one. My interview was conducted by an individual from human recources and a first officer who was hired last fall. Human recources asked me several questions about my flying experience and why I wanted to fly with Republic Airway while the first officer went through my logbooks. HR asked me... 4. Jun 16, 2022 Standard fly in and shuttle to hotel for night. Shuttle to training center with 6 total interviewees that day. HR presentation then HR left and left 2 current Captains and an FO to answer questions. Called in for interview very basic HR questions about being a CFI and some struggles with it. "What was your favorite flight you have done?" Pilot asked about MSA on Jepp Chart, FAF on an ILS, read a TAF and Metar, and basic questions about the last aircraft you flew. Very simple and... 5. Jun 14, 2022 It was exactly as others posted. Flying standby to get there was difficult. The next morning there were 6 of us. We went into a room and the staff did their best to relax the situation. We had an orientation on the company and why we should choose Republic. The interview itself is as straightforward. If you study the gauge you will be fine. It was about 20 min of HR questions and then another 20 min of technical questions. Afterward they ordered us a pizza. I was told my interview was... 6. Jun 10, 2022 Interview was just about as simple as everyone has made it out to be on the gouges. They flew me in the day before and I had a wonderful stay at their provided hotel. Nice and early shuttle in the morning with some waiting time here and there. HR gave us a great presentation followed by an FO and two Captains doing a quick 20 minute Q/A with all of the interviewees. There was about 7 or 8 of us interviewing on my scheduled day. The interview itself was very straight forward. Simple HR TMAAT... Continue reading this interview experience

  7. Jun 07, 2022 Studied the gouge and felt prepared for the interview. A good IFR knowledge is a must. In adddition to all the questions listed here I was also asked about Thunderstorms. Also review the RMK section from the METAR. Otherwise, everyone was laid back and very... Continue reading this interview experience

  8. May 27, 2022 Sent my resume. Got an e-mail the next day that had a link to setup a time for a phone interview. Completed phone interview and then setup a time for a formal in person interview in Indianapolis. I was flown in the day before the interview and shuttled to the hotel. The next day I met others in the lobby that were also there for the interview. We were shuttled to Republic and we sat in the lobby for about 45 minutes. That gave us a chance to talk to each other and work out some of our... Continue reading this interview experience

  9. May 26, 2022 All of the questions and descriptions of the interview process on this website were very accurate. There were 8 pilots waiting for the shuttle in the hotel lobby on the morning of the interview. We took the shuttle to the training center and were told to check in at the kiosks at the front desk. I would recommend trying to get to know some of the people interviewing, because we to sit and wait for about 45 minutes to begin the tour. The tour ended in a classroom that held a quick HR... 10. May 26, 2022 Arrived the night before in IND and had to take a UBER to the Hotel. Stayed at hotel IND Airport. At 7:30 next morning, we took the shuttle from the hotel to Republic Airline training center. We checked in at the front desk. They provided us with a badge containing our names and picture. We had to wait almost 1h and 30 min before someone came and walked us through the training center for the presentation about the company. Very bad energy from all personnel. The presentation was supposed to... Continue reading this interview experience
