I was asked why I want to fly for Republic, why I think it's a good fit for me, as well as the scenario of your CA developing cyanosis from Hypoxia on a flight and how you'd handle it as an FO (check on him, put on your 02, put on his, check pressurization system and emergency descent from there). I was also asked what it means to me to be an FO - again reinforce CRM, safety, also the position of learning from the CA and the rest of the crew and personnel in the company. After this the CA began the technical portion - super straight forward. Read a few remarks on a METAR, a TAF, then asked if an alternate was needed based on our ETA. I initially messed this up after I missed a FM line where ceilings required an alternate, but the CA had some grace with me and gave me an opportunity to correct myself and all was well. Also asked what if we had 3 alternates filed (then you'd need fuel to dest, furthest alternate, plus 45 mins at normal cruise airspeed). Showed me...

My experience was similar to previous posts. Flew in the day prior. Republic puts you up at their Brickyard Hotel adjacent to their training facility and corporate headquarters (still under construction). 7:45am met in the hotel lobby (complimentary breakfast offered). 8am an HR rep gives the group a tour of the training facility - newly constructed, everything is super nice - followed by an informational session with HR and current pilots. Halfway through the HR rep leaves and you can ask...

The process is very similar to what everyone else described. I arrived a day early and was picked up by the company shuttle along with one FA and two pilots. The training facility and hotel is very nice. Front desk was friendly and helpful. Met with the other candidates morning of in the lobby and was met by one of the captains and HR who conducted half of the interviews. The captain was very friendly and tried to put us all at ease. If you've made it to the interview portion they want to...

Overall, the interview was straightforward and aligned with what others have said and what's on the study guide. I flew out the day prior and stayed overnight in their very nice hotel. We met in the lobby with the other interviewees at 07:45. From there we got a tour of their training building which was clean and modern. After that, there was a presentation and a Q and A. We then had to fill out a sheet with our flight times so come prepared with all your totals that you might need. The...

My process, as with everyone else here, started the day before my scheduled interview when I arrived at the hotel. I am close enough to Indianapolis that I was able to drive up, so I parked in the parking garage next to the hotel. I spent the night, and the next morning at 7:45 myself and three other applicants met in the lobby of the hotel, where an HR rep met us and walked us over to the training center for a brief tour. We then sat in a classroom where there were two training captains and...

Republic reached out to me while I had my CMEL, I did not have my ATP written complete or had my RATP. Much like everybody else has said, the experience was very low threat, friendly, and smooth. Republic flew me out the day prior and provided a shuttle both to and from KIND. After check-in on day one you are more or less free until the next morning. You meet in the lobby between zero 0745 and 0800 the morning of the interview. From 8 to 9, you will be walked around the training facility as...

Flew out the weekend before the interview date. They set up all ride and flight accommodations for the interview. Once landing, I was shuttled to the hotel attached to the training facility. Staff was extremely pleasant. Enjoy the night in the hotel and expect to start the interview day off with a tour of the training facility. The tour will start at approx 0745-0800 depending on when the HR rep arrives. After the tour, you'll have a Q&A session with the pilots that will be...

The entire process was super pleasant. I submitted my application,  set up the phone screening the second week of Summer. Screening was generic times, medical, etc. During it I set up my interview. They flew me out the night before, and I got in pretty early so I was able to relax and check out the hotel. The next morning, we started with a tour of the TC. Then we had an HR presentation and a half hour Q&A with the three pilots that were going to be in interviews. Then it was time...

Interview experience was exactly like others that have been submitted. Republic does a fantastic job putting you at ease and the hotel/training center is incredible. All the people there are very nice and accommodating. I flew in the day prior to interview. Day of the interview you meet everyone in the lobby at 745 and meet up with someone who will then give you a tour. After the tour you do a short presentation with someone from HR then a q&a with the pilots. Afterwards they have you...

Interview was pretty straight forward. The HR portion of the interview were all general questions shown here on AviationInterviews. That was the easiest part of the process. My technical portion of the interview was scenario based. Started the scenario off at the hotel not feeling great, need to possibly take medication, how to know what to take & if it's safe for flight. Then get to the airport, assessing wx, preflight action, then in flight scenario from takeoff to touchdown. Make sure...

Flew in the day prior to the interview. Scheduled shuttle back to the campus to check into my hotel. Breakfast was provided in the morning followed by meeting in the lobby with the other interviewees, at which point we were met with an HR rep who gave us a guided tour throughout the campus. Fantastic facility, very clean rooms, amenities, extremely friendly folks from senior captains to custodial personnel, and Peggy at reception was one of the kindest women I've met! After the tour, we went...
