Walked in about 20 min early. Had my picture taken for future badge if hired and was fingerprinted. Once all candidates were there, they brought us to a conference room and gave us a company presentation on what operations they do, what the pay is, benefits, etc. We then were brought to the lunch room to wait for our names to be called to conduct the rest of the interview process. There was a cognitive test and an HR/technical interview with two retired airlines pilots (mine was a retired United pilot and a retired Delta...

Overall process was about three months from submitting my application to hearing back for the phone screening. The phone screen was really easy, just a quick review of your resume and qualifications. From there your application gets scored and you will be invited for an interview if you pass the screening. I was sent a few days to select from for the interview. Interview: Arrived 15 minutes early to complete your paperwork. There are two parts to the interview, cognitive test and the actual... -

Overall an amazing interview experience. Everyone is super nice and welcoming. When you interview in MSP you get the feeling that they really want to hire you and at that point its your CJO to lose. All the gouges on here are very accurate. The actual interview was with a retired United captain and a retired Delta captain. There was a Sun Country captain who just recently retired who was sitting in on the interview just shadowing to see if he wanted to join the interview team. The interview... -

Great experience with Sunny! Extremely welcoming and calming experience. Start with a short HR presentation of the company, then the interview with two retired Delta captains and then a 40 minute cog test on a laptop. Can't really prep for the cog test, its a mix of memorizing numbers, shapes and words, and then testing dexterity of pushing a button with your finger. Not that hard, but I didn't over think it. Interview was very relaxed and unlike any regional interview I've done in the past.... -

Very friendly company. Came in 30 minutes early, did the photo and fingerprints. I did the cog test first. Itâ??s short term memorization so donâ??t sweat it. Itâ??s a pass fail. The interview was a conversation with two retired pilots. No gotchas at all. Overall a chill process and I heard back the same... -

Very similar to everyone else. I had a phone interview with head of hiring about a month and a half before my actual interview, very informal just getting to know you a little bit I was offered the next available interview date on the phone but work got in the way of that. For the actual interview it was very relaxed. Started with a brief history of the company, then I did the cog test (very short term memory heavy), then I did the interview. All told I was there about three hours. A few... -

Talked with the recruiters at NGPA, continued that conversation moving forward over the past few months, in addition to having internals give recommendations. There is a phone screening which basically just covers the type of flying you are currently doing and then shortly after that was the offer to interview in person. They send you a packet of information to prep for all the technical questions. The TMAT questions listed here are useful, there were multiple TMAT or how would you handle... -

Everybody was very friendly and inviting. Just study the material they give you and be yourself. The interviewers were very kind and professional. It started by asking about myself, my aviation career, and then what I knew about the company. They ask a few situational questions as stated in other interviews here as well as tmaat questions. All very standard. If you get a call its for a CJO, an email to try again. I am looking forward to get started... -

Submitted my application in September. I heard back April 3rd, a day after I updated my hours from under 500 121 Turbine time to over 700 121 Turbine time. Recruiting phone call April 6th. Interview April 14th. CJO April 17th for a June 1st Start date. They plan on hiring almost 100 pilots by the end of December with two classes a month starting in the fall. Class sizes for June and July will be 12 while they plan on increasing the number to two classes a month August or September on.... -

Sun country booked a flight to and from the airport of your choosing as well as provided lodging and uber vouchers to and from the interview. It was 2 of us in the 12pm group. Given a brief overview/powerpoint of the operation offered coffee/water. Everyone was polite and professional. Interview was split up between a cognitive test and an interview team, both were retired majors pilots. Interview was straight off the study guide they give you. A few scenario based questions and tmaat...
