Walked in about 20 min early. Had my picture taken for future badge if hired and was fingerprinted. Interview experience was very pleasant. 3 of us came in at 7:45am for interviews. After checking and taking out fingerprints and pictures we went to the back for a presentation. After the presentation one of us would go interview, and one would take the cognitive test. The cognitive test is more miserable than anything but not bad. The interview was more conversational than expected, very low stress environment. Just some TMAAT questions and I only got at 3 technical questions. That can vary... -

Interview day is just as advertised by all other reports before mine. Its held a Sun Country HQ, its conducted small group style (there were three of us that day), finger prints and photo's to start, company presentation, cog screen, interview, then any follow up questions. All of us were on site by 7:45am and we didn't leave until 12:30ish, so get comfortable, bring a snack. Exactly as described in other write-ups. Spoke to recruitment team at NGPA, then sent monthly follow-up emails. Julie emailed to set up phone screen about 2 months after app submission/NGPA meet and greet. As expected: TMAY, Why Sun Country, Why not Delta. Company paid for travel and hotel. Entire team was extremely kind and welcoming. Interview panel was 2 retired airline pilots plus a retired SCA Line Check Airman (learning how to conduct interviews). Overall process was about three months from submitting my application to hearing back for the phone screening. The phone screen was really easy, just a quick review of your resume and qualifications. From there your application gets scored and you will be invited for an interview if you pass the screening. I was sent a few days to select from for the interview. Overall an amazing interview experience. Everyone is super nice and welcoming. When you interview in MSP you get the feeling that they really want to hire you and at that point its your CJO to lose. All the gouges on here are very accurate. The actual interview was with a retired United captain and a retired Delta captain. Great experience with Sunny! Extremely welcoming and calming experience. Start with a short HR presentation of the company, then the interview with two retired Delta captains and then a 40 minute cog test on a laptop. Can't really prep for the cog test, its a mix of memorizing numbers, shapes and words, and then testing dexterity of pushing a button with your finger. Not that hard, but I didn't over think it. Very similar to everyone else. I had a phone interview with head of hiring about a month and a half before my actual interview, very informal just getting to know you a little bit I was offered the next available interview date on the phone but work got in the way of that. Talked with the recruiters at NGPA, continued that conversation moving forward over the past few months, in addition to having internals give recommendations. There is a phone screening which basically just covers the type of flying you are currently doing and then shortly after that was the offer to interview in person.
