Pretty much exactly what has been on here.  Pretty laid back. The technical portion wasnâ??t bad. Had me listening to the 13 briefing items, then walked me through a simple scenario. Seems that they mainly want you to use as much CRM as...

The interview process was just as it was explained in previous reviews. Interview consisted of HR portion first and than a technical. The panel first gave a brief description of themselves followed by tell me a little bit about yourself. After that it went right into the tell me about a time questions.  After that we took a 5 min break and went into the technical portion. My technical was me being the captain and we were performing a flight from DEN- to SFO. List the 13 briefing items...

I had a great experience. The interview is just as described on this site. USE THE INFO FROM THIS SITE for the tech portion! The best advice that I can give is to volunteer information sent to you in the study guide because you may just get asked a general question like. "How would you debrief this flight?" They may not ask you about the United specific debrief items, but go through them anyway. KNOW THE UNITED STUDY GUIDE cold. There's no excuse not to have a correct answer to questions...

There were 8 in our group, I was the only Military ther others were Spirit, Skywest, Envoy, and Go Jet. We dropped off our logbooks and Captain Mark gave us the tour, he was very personable and told us the hard part was over and that everyone in the building wanted us to get hired. He took us to the waiting room and discussed how the interview would go and that it should be a fun, engaging, and conversational event. He even gave us a few reminders to not go over time (3-5 minutes for the...

Day started at the hotel where United puts you during Basic Indoc. Rode the shuttle over to be there for 7 AM taking the 6 30 AM van. Identification was checked and we were given a badge. Next we were given a post it note to put your name on to affix to your logbooks and given rubber bands to keep them together. For our bags we were told where to store them. From there we waited in the cafeteria. Everyone that walked by was pleasant and wished us luck. At around 7 AM a United captain came...

Interview was as described from the study guide. They really want you to feel comfortable and do a good job. 12:30 MT Interview, 11am shuttle to be there at 11:30 am. Gathered in the cafeteria, was taken on a tour of TK by a Captain, while our logbooks were being reviewed. Started with the HR representative and Pilot interviewer introducing themselves, followed by your own introduction. 5 TMAAT Questions that were all in this guide. 5 minute break and then into the technical portion. 737...

Application sent,  Email to take Hogan assessment 1 week later.  Used a Binder service. From Hogan assessment completion to schedule interview date was 1 week. Choices were 2 months out. The initial process listed on this website is spot on. (arrive early, get badge, provide logbooks, wait for a pilot to come and get you in cafeteria, visit the museum, etc) Interviewers tell you about themselves, then you tell them about yourself. I had to explain a check ride failure and a warning...

Arrived one hour prior at cafeteria. Logbooks were then taken. After tour, you are taken to a room with 2 (HR and Pilot panel). They used computer generated questions. Was asked intro, then 5 TMAAT, they are expecting STAR Format. Followed by quick break, then technical panel with the same interviewers. Was asked questions, (view the study guide of this website).  Then Technical questions.  Know obscure METAR Codes). What is the minimums listed on this RNP Approach? (look at RNP...

Everything stated by others on this site lines up with my interview experience. - Arrive at training center 1 hour prior - Bind logbooks and wait in cafeteria - A pilot will collect the applicants from the cafeteria and take them on a quick tour. Logbook dropoff happens at the start of the tour - Placed in classroom, wait to be called into individual offices - Pilot and HR representative introductions - TMAY followed by 5 TMAAT questions - 5 minute break - Tech portion - Legal questions and...
