They ask you to be checked in 1 hour prior, I was there at 8:30 and checked in. They will direct you to the cafeteria where you will meet with the other people interviewing. Use this time to chat and get to know each other, this helps calm the nerves and it looks good to be social. Lots of pilots came up to us to say congratulations, welcome us and wish us luck. At around 9:15 2 United pilots on the hiring team came to greet us get our logbooks and take us on a tour of the Museum. Again use... -

Just as everyone has mentioned here already, this was very similar. Met at security, checked in, logbooks banded together, waited in the cafeteria (8 of us for this time slot). 2 captains greeted us, very very friendly, tour of the museum, escorted to a classroom where the process is described, questions answered. We were brought back individually by our pilots interviewing us. Began with employee intros, then TMAY. 5 TMAATs (view the study guide of this website). They didn't have any... -

Interview great, poker faced interviewers. HR and technical. TMAY and TMAAT questions. Break time No logbook questions Technical as discussed in AviationInterviews. Know the 13 briefing items and be ready for an A-B flight. Technical is different every single time, they follow a generic format and freestyle from there. HR... -

Show an hour before you interview for logbook review and while thatâ??s happening, someone does a tour of facility with interviewees. Tell me how you got into flying and your time from then til now 5 TMAAT questions: Leadership was effective Disagreed with or didnâ??t understand SOP You helped/mentored college Under pressure at work Had to reengage yourself in a task 5 minute break Then Tech questions (view the study guide of this website). They do a wonderful job to put you at easeâ?¦.... -

Follow the UAL Study Guide that is forwarded after the initial assessment. Know all of those answers without hesitation as time is limited in the interview. I organized the 13 briefing items in a logical flow rather than rote memorization and the interviewers appeared to appreciate that (AKA: From the gate to a normal takeoff with threats/mitigation briefed in-between). If you have time flying in Part 121/135, you will be asked questions about your particular aircraft and individual... -

Reported to United location as instructed, processed through security and waited in cafeteria. Everyone was very friendly and positive toward all the interview candidates. Dropped off bags in bag room, then took a quick tour of United museum. After a brief wait was collected by interviewers, one pilot one HR. Interview consisted of two parts, the HR part with five TMAAT questions covered in this guide. Had about eight stories to cover most subject questions - plan for the questions in the... -

The entire experience was very pleasant and relaxed and each United team member my group interacted with was very friendly and professional. Started with a TMAY and 5 TMAAT questions, (view the study guide of this website). Took a 5 minute break and started the technical. The technical was relatively simple. I was asked to give my best brief including the 13 briefing items. Also asked about my current aircraftâ??s wind shear escape procedure. I was given an elaborate scenario that included... -

Interview was exactly as described in all of the recent submissions. My adviceâ?¦ show your personality, have polished TMAY and Why United 3-4 minute speeches prepared, and do as much prep as you can. Leave nothing to chance. That being said, itâ??s a super relaxed atmosphere and if you have prepared thereâ??s nothing to worry about. The HR and Tech portions of this website were spot on and should definitely be a big part of your preparation. Good luck to all that have... -

Almost exactly as per the information on the site. Check-in with the front desk of the building you're directed to with the pre-interview package, drop bags and wait in the cafeteria, met by a current Captain and given the tour of the museum and small talk questions about yourself and your other candidates. Taken to classroom where you are given a little pep talk and some simple questions to break the ice, then your interviewer collects you and takes you to a room where a HR person is...
