Arrived 5 minutes before report time of 0815. Signed in and was given a visitor badge. A few minutes later I was greeted by a nice retired captain who would be conducting my sim eval. He showed me around and then we sat for a while which he explained the process of the day and the sim profile. He took all required paperwork and logbooks and they were viewed by another office during the sim eval. (view the... Continue Reading this Interview Experience

  1. Apr 28, 2020 Online interview. Very very friendly and professional. Same questions just asked in different ways. They want to get to know... Continue reading this interview experience

  2. Mar 17, 2020 Interview was very relaxed. All the questions asked can be found on previous feedback reports. They are spot on. Then Sim, (view the sim/scenario section of this website).  Left totally not knowing one way or another. Best of... Continue reading this interview experience

  3. Mar 13, 2020 My interview experience closely matched the previous gouges..I did the Sim next, (view the Sim/Scenario section of this website).  The HR portion was a very pleasant experience. In addition to the typical gouge questions (tell us about you, why UPS, conflict stuff), they spent a good deal of time dissecting my resume and asking about past experiences. I believe that the key to this interview is preparation and presentation of who you really are. Go in there with a huge smile, a good... Continue reading this interview experience

  4. Mar 09, 2020 I arrived at 6am for the 6:15 show at the Training Center. I was met by Mr. Niermeier who warmly welcomed me. The whole day is very relaxed but come prepared because they are a detailed-oriented company. Everyone I met in HR and pilot HR had decades of experience. Next Sim, (view the sim/scenario section of this website).  They will give you no feedback on the sim. We chit-chatted for about a half hour after the de-brief. It is a VERY relaxed environment; this is by design--they... Continue reading this interview experience

  5. Feb 20, 2020 The day started at the Flight Training Center - I met Mr. Larry P. who took all of the requested paperwork/documents/logbooks and conducted my sim. He gave me a thorough briefing and reminded me they’re not looking for type rating proficiency. I used the Airbus sim the day of my interview; the sim was the exact same as the profile. I left the sim feeling pretty frustrated because it definitely wasn’t my best performance; if you happen to feel the same way don’t let this... Continue reading this interview experience

  7. Feb 03, 2020 I went to a career fair in Las Vegas in April 2018 and had a brief interview with a retired UPS pilot. While deployed to Afghanistan last December I received a call from a UPS pilot recruiter. In January of this year I received an e-mail with a link for the Hogan assessment. One week later I got a phone call from someone in HR at UPS to schedule an interview. The first part of the interview was the simulator assessment. At the suggestion of several friends who have worked at UPS for... Continue reading this interview experience

  9. Jan 14, 2020 First was Sim. (view the sim/scenario section and the study guide of this website).   HR: As has been said many times, they have great folks who are very warm and welcoming and will put you at ease. They want to get to know you so make it easy for them. Sincerity, honesty and transparency go a long way in the interview. Let them know how much you really wanna work for UPS, do research about the company. Let them know why you are a good fit for the company (culture/values).... 10. Jan 13, 2020 Other gouge is pretty accurate. Started mid morning, went in with the instructor who was going to be doing my sim. They take all your paperwork, give them everything you have now because there won't be time later. You will meet 5-6 people from the time you walk in until you get over to the sim, have a smile on your face! Everyone is so nice! Sim brief for 30-45 minutes. They chose sims based on availability with training schedules so theres no rime or reason for what you get. I didn't do... Continue reading this interview experience
