We've Aviation Professionals Prepare for their Interviews!
  • I arrived at 12:35 for the 12:45 afternoon interview slot. I was the last of my group to arrive. There were four of us. Only two of us received a CJO— unsure why. We were all separated and we never saw the two individuals who didn’t receive a CJO after we started interviewing. I provided a binder of information to include logbooks, a summary of flying, complete military Form 8 history, complete training jacket from my civilian employer, all simulator training records, all 299/297/293 training history, and all previous certification documents. They were only interested in my logbook, summary pages and physical copies of IDs. After arriving, we were approached by 6 people from Frontier which was probably the most nerve-wracking part of the entire day— three pilots and three HR reps. Each of us left all at the same time to conduct our interviews on the 3rd floor of the building with one person who stayed behind waiting for the...

Entered break/lunch room at the beginning. They took logbooks then called us up 1 by 1 for interviews. About you, why Fontier, tmaat and scenario based questions. We finished around 2:30p and CJOs were given on the spot with most of the time spent waiting for the on site drug test and...

Arrived 12:30 for 1pm interview. Six applicants and three interview teams. Interview team made up of 1 pilot and 1 hr. We were brought to the cafeteria to wait. Interview teams introduced themselves and took documents and logbooks from the first three applicants. Interview order was predetermined and I went last, I waited about one hour and twenty minutes. The interview was broken into six "competencies" one was a technical descent planning question while the others were all TMAAT style. The...

They were friendly and the experience was relaxed. Theyâ??ll collect all your documents and go to another room to review them. Youâ??ll be left in the lunch room to review them, and then theyâ??ll call everyone one by one. It took about an hour, with a pilot and a few other people. Why Frontier? There wasnâ??t any technical...

Was in the afternoon group starting at 1. Got there early and waited in the lobby. At around 12:45 the recruiters came out and took us back to a breakroom. Once we were seated they explained how the interviews would go. Then they collected logbooks for review on the first group. There weee 6 of us broken up into 2 groups of 3 for interview. I was in the second group and waited about 30-45 minutes for them to get my logbook for review. I had lost my original logbook but all my flights were on...

Very relaxed interview with a large group of candidates. They made us comfortable downstairs first and took us upstairs one by one, after running a logbook review privately. My interviewers were 2 HR ladies and one pilot. They asked me tell me about a time questions, about 5 of them. Not a single technical question. Then they left the room and came back about 5 minutes later to tell me I didn't score high enough on their "points...

Got to Frontier headquarters at 7:30 for an 8 am interview. The team was SO friendly and let us know that they wanted us to do well in the interview. They let us know that they have CJOs for all of us, meaning if we interviewed well all of us would be hired. We were put into a break room and waited to be called in one by one for an interview with an HR rep and pilot. They would first take logbooks for review and come back to interview us. The interview itself was all HR questions despite one...

I sat down with 1 HR and 1 Captain, they made it a very comfortable setting and low stress environment. The first thing we discussed was my logbook and the few questions they had. Then we rolled in to the HR portion of the interview which included tell me about yourself then a couple TMAAT and WWYD questions, then finally they asked why Frontier. Overall, it was a good experience, the interview was just over an hour, and I got a phone call 24 hours later with their decision to offer me a...

Quick timeline for reference: Originally applied at the end of Winter, received email saying they chose a different candidate at this time and invoked slowdown in hiring, but was invited to try again in 4 months. So I just kept updating app and hours online. Received 4 emails in the Summer (1 per week), saying my application was under review but due to slowdown, would be several months before I would hear back. In the first part of Fall I received email saying Frontier application reviews...
