Overall great experience for advanced air. Started off with HR questions and make sure to research company. Then technical which was mainly IFR regs no 135 questions. Technical portion was very similar to the written test you take for them and they just want to see your thought process. Asked about SID and STARS. Interview was straightforward. Basic IFR questions. I was interviewed by a first officer. (view the study guide of this website). We went over some charts. And the the HR portion was pretty straightforward. I was asked about Threat and error management. Required preflight action. The interview was through Google meet. I felt pretty relaxed. Make sure you know the Kona Approach well. She asked me to brief the approach and once I was done asked me to recite the names and altitudes of FA,MA, and IAF without looking back at the plate, which got me. Other than that standard interview. Asked for part 91 alternate rules, bonus points if you have part 135 memorized too. Lots of tell me about a time you were scared/messed up in the cockpit... -

This is for Advanced Air. Started with a phone screen about 30 mins, a couple of HR questions. Next was an online test 70 questions 30 mins study IFR, Multi Engine, Commercial, and some HR. Next was a panel interview with a current captian, Multi engine questions, IFR 135 vs 91, and some HR(disagreement with a Captain, you have a grumpy FO). The interview I had with Andy was the initial phone screen, and it lasted around 30 minutes or slightly less. During the call, we went over some of the standard background and technical questions. I found that the study guide they provided ahead of time was very helpful, as the questions asked during the interview were closely aligned with the material in the guide.
