Wizz Air Assessment NTR Cadet First Officer – Budapest We were asked to arrive at 08:00 local time in Budapest. There were around 50 to 55 candidates in total. First, we were divided into four groups to make the documentation check faster and more efficient. We left all our documents in the assigned room and were then guided to a large auditorium for the company presentation, which lasted approximately 1.5 hours. After the presentation, we waited in the lobby while the documentation check was being completed. Once it was done, we returned to the initial room with our assigned group and began the group exercise. We were 12 candidates in my group, so 6 of us waited outside while the first 6 completed the...

The interview began with a strong focus on my current role. Since I work for another airline, they were very interested in understanding why I wasn’t pursuing a flying position with my present employer. They repeatedly asked about my long-term career plans. Tip: If you already work for an airline, be prepared with clear, professional reasons why your current airline may not align with your long-term goals. On the technical side, I would recommend thoroughly revising your current... -

When we finished the test we were told to wait, if someone had some things to sort out with documents they asked them to stay. Then we had group assessment where we all got some hints and were supposed to come to a... -

I attended a roadshow which sold Wizz to me, the people we met were friendly. I explained my concerns about not having looked at ATPL ground school in nearly 20 years. I was told not to worry and they would confirm any queries in the interview stage. I arrived and met the other applicants all having varied backgrounds. Each person had a slightly different selection process to follow and mine was, along with another person to go the tech questions, I call them tech questions but they covered... -

Day started off with company presentation with 9 of us on the assessment, during this they did a document check on everyone on passports, licences etc. Then we went for the technical test, not as bad as I thought it would be but from what I remember it included: English comprehension Numerical reasoning/maths ATPL questions It was nowhere near as bad as I thought. (view the study guide of this website). Then we had a break while that was marked and then we went into the group task,... -

It all started with a presentation of the company with information regarding bases, salarys, roster, etc. After that we started the test, which was mainly questions of ATPL. I'd say 2 or 3 of human performance, a bunch of airlaw/operational procedures, then a question about a balanced field V1 and with a graph a needed to select a point representing a balanced V1. Also some questions of principles of flight and around 7 or 8 of basic mathematics, like adding, dividing, solving equations, one... -

•DAY 1 We started off the day at 8am, we got divided into 3 groups (A, B and C). Each group went in a different room where we were asked to leave relevant documents on the table for the assessors to check them while we attended the company presentation which lasted until around 9:30am. Then comes the 60 question test (75% of it being ATPL and the rest basic maths, physics and company knowledge) which in my opinion was pretty fair albeit not easy. After the test, we waited for our...
