NetJets Pilot Interview:
for sim evaluation. Then about 1 hour of presentation by 3 captains from EJA. Two of the captains bragged about their prior military flying. I got the feeling if not retired airline or prior military they considered you second rate. They said you would be baby sitters and sometimes even dog sitters. Flight safety personnel were very professional and helpful. Next was a test called Prevue which is something you can not study for. Sim eval was a full motion Kingair 200 night IFR. Weather given was 300/1 -R. Take off form Alanta 09 left turn toward Peachtree VOR. On the way to Peachtree you do left/right steep turns then continue to VOR for a hold. 1 lap in hold and depart outbound on R170 to Delno, cleared for full approach with Procedure turn and ILS to 27. 1 flight as PNF and 1 as PF, CRM very important.
Next was interview by the 2 captains that were prior military. They hand you a ink pen and tell you to sell it to them. Lots of Tech questions Re Star at Phoenix and part 135/91 FARs. I was asked what was max speed in class B and class D for turbo jet airplanes and I told them I was not aware of seperate max speeds for turbo-jet and I gave them 250 in class B 200 in class D and 200 under a class B not going to Primary class B airport Other prior military and retired airline pilots were not asked tech questions. It was like the good old boys laughing and joking around if you fit their profile. General aviation with 3840TT 1100 turbo-prop 135 was a negative to interview board. They made it clear they wanted prior turbo-jet pilots.
