Interview Experiences From Envoy Air Cadet Program Pilot Interviews :

  1. 1.  (Oct 20, 2025) The day starts at 0620 when the shuttle leaves the hotel. Our driver probably left by 0615, tho, so be downstairs early. Once you arrive, youâ??ll go to the left and into a waiting room. They said to arrive by 0730, but everyone on my day arrived by 0650 (three cadets and two first officers). Right around 0700, a gentleman walked in and told us to get out our ramp check documents (Commercial, CFI, Medical, FCC, Logbook, Driverâ??s License, and Passport), so have them readily available.... 2. 2.  (Jun 12, 2025) Everything in here is extremely accurate and was exactly how my day went. Started off the day around 6am being picked up at the hotel. Went to HQ and we were pretty early. They checked all our documents and took our breakfast orders. We were then taken upstairs to a conference room where we sat for a little bit then got a presentation on the company. From there they took us about two at a time for our interviews. Only 5 HR questions and about 40 technical comprising mostly of Jep Charts.... Continue reading this interview experience..

Study Guide Questions for Your Envoy Air Cadet Program Interview:

  1. 1. (Sep 03, 2025) What are your personal fuel minimum requirements ?
  2. 2. (Nov 14, 2025) What would be the biggest challenge transitioning to Envoy?
    • I think the hardest part of transitioning to Envoy will be getting used to flying a jet—especially the increased speed, complexity, and automation. That being said, though, at Utah State we have a jet training program with brand new 737 simulators that I have been training on and will be instructing on this fall. I feel this has given me a strong head start by introducing important concepts like Crew Resource Management (CRM), using clearly defined Pilot Flying and Pilot Monitoring roles, and even learning about things such as constant-angle non-precision approaches (CANPA). So while the jet transition will be challenging, I see it as an exciting step—and thanks to my training, I believe I’ll be able to hit the ground running and stay ahead of the curve.
  3. 3. (Dec 04, 2025) What are your hobbies?
  4. 4. (Jul 29, 2025) What is an MAA?
    • The MAA is the Maximum Authorized Altitude for a particular segment

    • 200, 230, 265
  7. 7. (Sep 30, 2025) What are you looking for in a regional airline?
    • I’m looking for a positive and safe work environment to build experience in a turbine aircraft.
  8. 8. (Sep 15, 2025) When is a takeoff alternate required to be filed?
    • When the takeoff minimums are met, but the weather is less than the landing minimums.
  9. 9. (Dec 02, 2025) Why Envoy?
    • I have heard great things from all of my peers who have joined envoy
    • its flow-through agreement to American Airlines, solid training program, competitive benefits, and the opportunity to fly modern jets like the Embraer 175 while building quality turbine PIC time in a major airline network.
  10. 10. (Oct 01, 2025) Tell us about yourself

I am committed to doing my best all time. Shifting from Entertainment to hospitality and aviation has given me several tools to work in different situations, which is a good quality for any pilot.
