Interview Experiences From NetJets Pilot Interviews :
-
1. (Sep 09, 2025) Submitted my application in the late afternoon and heard back from Netjets via email the next morning to schedule my first interview. I had Tanner. They send you a link to pick a time and date to schedule. They also have you update your employment history on your PRD and grant Netjets access before your interview. He had complete open availability so I chose the soonest possible date. This interview is only 30 minutes long. Tanner is a senior recruiter and has done probably thousands of... 2. (Sep 09, 2025) I submitted my application and heard back via email within a week. I was provided a link to schedule my initial Teams interview, with most available time slots about 2 weeks to a month out. The first interview was with a recruiter and had a very easy-going, relaxed atmosphere. It started with a Tell me about yourself and a walk-through of my resume. That was followed by 3-4 TMAT questions. I don't recall the exact questions, but they all aligned with the study guide - no surprises at all.... Continue reading this interview experience..
Study Guide Questions for Your NetJets Interview:
- 1. (Nov 03, 2025) If you were to be hired, how would you contribute to the safety culture here at NetJets?
- I would continue to lead by example and leadership.
- I make sure to try to always be prepared for every flight and every scenario. I will hold myself and my captain accountable to ensuring we are in compliance with regulations and company policy
- 2. (Nov 03, 2025) What is the difference between good customer service and great customer service?
- Good customer service is the customer walks away with no complains, great or elite customer service is the customer would walk away with a smile on their face and remember the brand and is likely to recommend it.
- The largest difference between good and excellent customer service is exceeding expectations. In other words, you go above and beyond what customers expect.
- Good customer service is doing what is expected. Great customer service is creating a personalized experience for the client.
- 3. (Oct 14, 2025) What is safety to you?
- This was asked in the interview. It covers checklist usage,SOP’s and CRM
- Just asked this question today during the Video conference pre-screen. Basically talked about being prepared both in terms of flight plan, weather, but also experience for the given platform and mission. I spoke about my infrequency of flying into Aspen and how I go about preparing weeks in advance of a trip to ensure I am safe, etc.
- Safety is always being prepared for the mission with all available information. Making sure the mission of the flight is a success before ever leaving the FBO.
- 4. (Aug 10, 2025) Tell me about a time you had a conflict with a fellow pilot.
- Remember that this conflict doesn't have to be dramatic, you don't have much time to set up the scenario, explain what happened and how you resolved it.
- Make sure to speak openly, and talk WITH the person and not at them.
- 5. (Oct 26, 2025) Have you had any tickets or arrests in the past five years?
- Always be honest. If the background check shows anything that wasn't disclosed in the interview you just removed yourself from consideration
- 6. (Nov 03, 2025) When did you go above and beyond to exceed a customer's expectations?
- Back when I was learning sign language, I would be the individual at my grocery store to walk with deaf customers and help them select items.
- Attempt to go above and beyond with every flight. I try to know the customers history and personality or pick up on cues that help me understand them on a more personal level. I use that information to make their flight experience superior to other carriers by surprising them with a small gift or a tour of the cockpit or a type of drink/food or a card. Whatever it takes to have an elevated experience.
- 7. (Oct 27, 2025) Tell me about a time you've had to demonstrate crew resource management.
- We lost a engine and i quickly saw the value of crm as I had to deal with flying and my sic had to do everything else
- 8. (Nov 01, 2025) Have you ever failed a checkride?
- Yes, gave my story and lessons learned.
- 9. (Oct 04, 2025) Why should we hire you?
- I am a highly experienced pilot dedicated to safety and customer service!
- Because being a NetJet pilot is so much more than just 'flying...' Ultimately, the it's Safety plus customer service, which means understanding and anticipating customer needs, as well as recognizing that at times, the customer wants to be left alone to finish work, etc etc
- 10. (Nov 02, 2025) Why do you want to work at NetJets?
- Great opportunity to fly for the premiere private aviation company in the world
- Because it is the leader in safety and customer service!
- Largest private company on Earth. Always leading. Every other company is trying to be NetJets, so I want to work for the leader
- After looking for the best company that best fits my goals and expectations, I found in Netjets a company with years of experience where safety is first, As well with a big diversity in their fleet.
- After working at an FBO for 6 years servicing NetJets fleet as they came in, the pilots seem very happy with their job, plus it would be a dream to fly the best limos in the sky.
- I have watched NetJets for 28 years grow and flurish. All the pilots that I encounter have nothing but but good things to say about NetJets. Coming from the largest airline in the world to the largest private airline in the world seems a natural fit.

(Sep 06, 2025) We were in the longitude from EWR doing the Newark 5 departure. Clearance was climb via except maintain 200kts. You’ll already be lined up on the runway and only need to brief the weather and the first 90 seconds of the flight. After leveling off at 300 you’ll get to do steep turns 180 each way and was told to maintain 230kt. Flight director is off and your sim partner can’t help except calling out headings of you want it. Once that was completed the “owner” came up and told us he forgot his briefcase and needed to go back. Told him no problem...Continue reading simulator / scenario information..

(Jul 27, 2025) We jumped into the sim and each copied/readback the clearance and ATIS. We were assigned the NIITE 4 departure from 28R at SFO, climb via the SID except maintain 200kts. We were also assigned a transition but never flew it as he vectored us off of the departure soon after we leveled off. We then did two 180 degree steep turns before he told us that he left a bag back at the...Continue reading simulator / scenario information..
