He said nope, good answer. Asked to read a taf and see if we need a destination alternate, (we didn't) and he asked how did I know that and I said the tempo line for our eta was 3sm and ovc 2200 so we were... - 8. (Oct 18, 2025) Tell me about a time you made a mistake in aviation
- I spoke to the time I forgot to set the target pod laser from "combat" to "training" during a training sortie. I immediately told my crew mate when I realized it. Set it to training and continued the mission since it didn't preclude our ability to finish. Upon landing I immediately told flight lead and then the instructor. Took my reaming and per the standards, got into the charts to see if any damage may have been done for altitude and duration. I then wrote a memo describing the incident in the event something was reported from the ground. Bottom line: I screwed up, owned it, reported it, documented it, learned from it, and moved on.

- USAir subsidiary.
- The merger between US Air and American provides stability in jobs that pursue
- I choose PSA because it is a stable and growing company. It has a great track record and all of the articles I have recently read about PSA show that it is an ideal place to work. It is the kind of company that offers the stability that one would aspire to work with and grow with. It is also wholly owned by the American Airlines Group which shows to be one of the stronger airlines in the world today!
- Fast growing airline with rapid movement on seniority list. The opportunity to domicile where I live and strong belief in 4 core values (know them). On top of all that, there will be a guaranteed job with American once your number comes up.
- Safety, passion, professional excellence, respect. I found them on their website.
