Interview Experiences From Surf Air Pilot Interviews :

  1. 1.  The interview was with Southern Airways. The interview was short and sweet. There were a couple of questions that came out of FIA written.   2. 2.  There is a HR phone screen, an in person panel interview and a sim eval. The HR phone screen is just general tell me about yourself, total time, why you like advanced, air etc. After that phone call, there is an online test that is very long and you probably won't be able to finish. The in person panel interview is with various pilots (lots of IFR stuff). The sim is in a redbird which is a G1000. Will do approaches, holds, checklists,...     • Quality of life, better schedule, being able to be based at home city. Even if you want to go to the majors eventually don’t talk down about them, just discuss the positives.
