  2. 2.  (May 29, 2025) Panel was Cheryl, and Larry, a retired UPS captain of 34 years over Zoom. I logged on about 20 minutes early and Cheryl and Larry about 10 minutes early. Since we were all there, we started then. It took about an hour and a half total.   1. 1. (Aug 10, 2025) TMAAT you had to make a quick decision, preferably in flight scenario.
    • I was flying with a new FO into Charlotte when storms developed over the field as we approached and began the initial approach segment. I made the decision to ask for an alternate missed approach in the event we needed to go around due to the storms being off the departure end. We requested a left turn 270 to avoid the storms. Fortunately we were able to land and taxi tot he gate with no issues.

    • I once had a Captain disregard a maintenance procedure and reset guide that ultimately led us to have to do the reset off gate while on the phone with maintenance personnel. I think there was a lack of clear communication and timidity at the time which led us to a conflict in the cockpit. We resolved the conflict by agreeing to call Maintenance for clarification and that cleared the message.

    • MD-11, Airbus 300, B-757/767, B-747

  10. 10. (Nov 03, 2025) How do you handle working with a difficult co-worker?
    • Usually, there's always a personal problem that makes people difficult to get along with. I would gently try and find out the problem through casual conversation, and offer my support. If they don't want to talk, I'll just make allowances for their behavior, as long as they don't hurt people or break the rules.
