At 64% N1, with 2.5 degrees nose-up and a 45-degree bank, we maintained 230 knots without any climb or descent. The Flight Director was turned off for this, which actually made it easier. After completing steep turns, we used the autopilot. According to the handout, all HDG/ALT inputs are made by the PF when using autopilot, and SOP callouts are expected when adjusting altitude and heading. We were then directed back to EWR for a forgotten item, so we called NetJets operations to get re-dispatched to return. ATC vectored us to ILS RWY 4L at EWR. Following ATC vectors, we set up for the descent, reducing to 200 knots and descending at 1000 FPM using 50% N1 to 3000 feet. I made sure to bring the power back in before level-off, with cruise N1 for 200 knots set to about 60%. Once stable, I transferred controls to brief the approach, then got the controls back and requested the approach checklist. The airspeed bug was set to 140 knots.
