Submitted application early Fall - contacted by email a week later with a link to schedule a virtual interview. After scheduling the interview later that day received another email with the computer assessment. I did not think I did well on the assessment... kept crashing trying to fly thru the moving mouse holes. Couldn't understand the English assessment using too many of the...

The interview was just the way other people described it. 15 minutes with the chief pilot, HR lady and a 777 captain. They were all pretty relaxed and asked me questions, (view the study guide of this website). Asked days of notice and then had a relaxed conversation about my current aircraft with the captain. Nothing too much in detail. Overall great experience with this... -

Interview was fairly short and to the point. A couple questions from both the CP and the HR representative. Everything included in previous gouge was very helpful; although I wasn't asked any TMAAT or technical questions. Seemed to me the interview was more to get to know a person and whether they'd be able to handle the ACMI type flying than a traditional interview. I was provided a CJO at the end of the... -

Interview was exactly as described. Conversational based with the very nice and professional chief pilot. Common questions like why do you want to work here and are you ok with the schedule. The rest of the time we just chatted about my experience. HR lady asked any DUIs or arrests. All took about 15... -

I applied at the end of March and got the email to schedule the virtual email about a week or two later. Initially there were interview slots open for early May, but they filled up in about 10 minutes while I was looking at my schedule and trying to decide on a date, so the earliest I could book was the end of May. Don't delay in booking your appointment! The interview questions were exactly as described in the study guide. The whole interview was less than 10 minutes. I had two people in my... -

Just the Cheif Pilot and an HR rep. Questions were very simple. (view the study guide of this website). There were no "What would you do" questions. It was very straight forward and very laid back. I did find it hard to guage how I was doing, The questions were rapid fire although we did elaborate on some. Every question I was asked was listed on the study guide. Still waiting to hear back. Will post once I receive an... -

The interview was via Teams. It was with the Chief Pilot and an HR rep. It lasted less than 10 minutes and afterwards I thought I should have asked questions, but they only schedule 15 minutes and I think they are going through a list of applicants as efficiently as possible. There were no TMAAT questions or anything like that. They asked how you felt about working their schedules, flying to conflict zones, what aircraft you prefer. Checkride failures, DUI's and simple HR stuff. Very... -

Applied March 31st, invited on April 13th to a virtual interview on May 6th. Provided documents and flight times by email prior to interview and took AON Assessment. I had taken a few AON assessments so knew what to expect, there was nothing surprising on it and it never came up in the interview. Interview was very short, not longer than 10 minutes. I had the Chief Pilot, Standards Captain for the 747 fleet and an HR rep. They jumped right in with "why Kalitta", all of the questions were... -

This was a very relaxed and friendly video interview with the Chief Pilot, a Captain and Human Resources. Questions asked were accurate on this site. My advice would be to be yourself and show them that you can fly long hours/rotations, and be pleasant to fly... -

You can log into the testing website that Kalitta gives you and see what tests you will take, and then practice and study for those tests. You'll save yourself a bunch of time. Interview was very laid back and easy. Its on Teams, they were a couple minutes late. It was a HR lady, and from what I remember I believe it was the Director of Training. They started off introducing themselves. They asked me "Why Kalitta?", We then talked about the type of flying I've done and equipment. (view the... -

As with the other reports, the interview was very straight forward. The interview itself took about 15 minutes with the chief of training and an HR person. Most asking about my current experience like avionics and VNAV. The standard questions, (view the study guide of this website). Then HR questions. Very easy going with both individuals and felt more like just a conversation than an...
