We've Aviation Professionals Prepare for their Interviews!
  • I applied for the NetJets First Officer position and received an email about one week later inviting me to schedule an interview. The scheduling system was flexible — it's possible to reschedule if needed. Interview Day: I showed up well-groomed, clean-shaven, wearing a suit and tie. That’s just how I believe you should present yourself when you're given the chance to sit in front of an organization like NetJets. I studied a lot of the material shared here on AviationInterviews, but the most important thing I can say is this: know yourself, and know whether your mindset and values truly align with theirs. Their core pillars are Safety and Service. They’re not just looking for pilots — they’re looking for the right kind of pilot. I come from the airline world, and I made it clear that I genuinely want to fly corporate....

Submitting my application and heard back the next day to schedule the first interview. The first available interview was 3 weeks out and was with Erin. Very nice lady and easy to talk to, interview was exactly like discussed on here. Started with "what does safety mean to me", "TMAAT safety was an issue on a flight and how you handled it", and "TMAAT you went above and beyond for a customer". After that was standard yes or no DOT questions, then asked about PF vs PM time, and then if I had...

I had my interview with Stephanie. The interview process is mainly TMAT. This website does a great job giving you an idea of what to expect. I was asked some questions (view the study guide of this website).  Then they proceed to yes or no questions and go through your resume. I thought the interview went extremely well, however I was not offered a second interview. 2200 TT 547 Turbine SIC ATP Currently working at a 135 company. Good...

Had a 3 step interview beginning with the HR interview. Interview was 30 minutes long via Teams and was mainly an introduction of yourself to the company and the company to you, several TMAAT questions and a final what does safety mean to you question. Second interview was with a fleet manager and was also 30 minutes but much more flying oriented. To begin, several questions were fired off rapidly to make sure you know your stuff (TORA/ASDA, 91/135 regs, rise over run charts) before becoming...

Interviewer recommended me for second interview and still got a TBNT. Just don’t think I was competitive enough hour wise. They asked me multiple TMAT questions and also the basic “why netjets” “why are you leaving your current position” “what does it mean to have great customer service.” Once we did that he explained the pay, upgrade time, aircraft,...

This was my 3rd time applying and second time interviewing (both time I made it all the way through the in person). Took about 3 days to get an interview but the closest date was 3 weeks out (had multiple internal recs and already had familiarity with a recruiter who I emailed directly) First interview is online teams interview with a recruiter. Questions were asked. The basic DOT yes or no questions. Second interview was online teams interview with an executive. Took about 2 days from the...

Pretty straightforward interview. The first one was all TMAAT and I heard back in 1 day. The next was more TMAAT questions and they did ask if I interviewed with anyone else. Do not say you interviewed for airlines. I heard back after 1 day as well. The third was the in-person sim eval and logbook review. Just be yourself and have a good time. It's an airplane don't overthink...

Applied four times over the past year and got TBNT, only heard back after getting a PIC type rating in a light jet and flying for a month. Three part interview process. 1st part was a Teams interview with Erin. Questions, (view the study guide of this website).  Then asked 5 questions about training and the company growth projection. Got email back next day to set up a second TEAMS interview with the Latitude Training Program Manager, Kirk. Questions asked. TMAY, Why not the airlines?,...

Mostly a personality interview! Great company great team. First itâ??s an HR interview - classic TMAATW style questions and such. They ask you to walk them through your resume and you get to self-glaze a bit and explain how each step has shaped you. Next is 1-on-1 with a pilot and they ask similar questions. Finally itâ??s the sim eval. Remember all your callouts, be a good sim partner, and be of good character. Theyâ??re always watching...

Gouges are very accurate. Expect a three part process: 1) 30 min virtual HR interview, generalized and quick 2) 45 min virtual chief pilot/similar interview, deeper tech questions 3) in person sim day in Columbus Know you want NETJETS as the career destination, any hint you want to go to an airline ever and you are gone. I did my teams interview with Josh. Very nice guy and made the interview feel very relaxed. Started by asking me to tell him about myself, TMAT when safety was being compromised by a crew member, TMAT you went above and beyond for a customer, and some other TMAT questions along with some basic Yes or No questions. After he was done he explained the pay and next steps for the interview process and opened it to questions to me which I asked a couple and then asked “how did you think the...

  11. What I appreciate a great deal about this website was the consistency of its updated postings (to help get a real feel/temp of a hiring frenzy or slump), and the thoroughness of everyone’s posts. I felt entirely prepared and competent based on other users’ feedback. I did lots of my own preparation for this job, but this was probably by far the best tool in my arsenal for organizing and practicing.
