The interview went exactly how it has been described here. They initially called me for a phone screening after receiving the email saying I have been selected to move forward in the hiring process. The phone screening was nice and relaxed with a Pilot Recruiter just asking for a little more about me and why Piedmont, etc. Then gave me a date for the earliest they had for the interview which was exactly a month out. Later that day I received an email with a confirmation for my flight out to Charlotte and the next day a confirmation for the hotel reservation. The recruiter told me to reach out if i had...

Very similar to what your recruiter will tell you, the interview is going to look like. Questions on this site seem accurate as well. Like the other guy who interviewed this week, I waited in the hotel lobby and then they brought us back for the presentation about the company, which probably took 40 minutes. At that time we were encouraged to ask questions throughout which I did. After another 20 minute wait time, they began calling us back in pairs, so there were four interviewers, two to... -

We meet at the Hotel lobby, where a Piedmont recruiter came to Pick us up. We went inside conference room and had a small intro about Piedmont ( base,401K,benefits). Once chat is over , we were walked out to a waiting area while they call us one by one. Interview process was straightforward, METAR DECODE, tupe of fog, microburst, brief approach plate and taxi, then questions about Jepp chart ( beacon, landing distance, VGSI/GS, MSA) Super relax... -

We met in the hotel lobby and covered a brief presentation on the company. After the presentation we waited in the lobby for our turn to interview. The interview started off with the normal expected questions. What type of captain do you want to be, what is a professional pilot, what is CRM, why Piedmont, tell about a time you didn’t get along with a co-worker, greatest achievement of your aviation career so far, what hobbies do you have. After that we continued with the technical... -

Interview went exactly as described in the most recent interview descriptions submitted here. Flew in the night before, got downstairs on the morning of the interview ~8 AM to confirm the room and meet with the other candidates. Began at 9 AM by dropping logbooks and a form of ID before starting a ~45 min presentation about the company, current hiring environment, pilot travel perks, etc. Then moved to the lobby to wait for our turn to interview in groups of two (different interview teams... -

I had a friend who was in training send an email to recruitment to help get my app pulled. Once I heard back from recruitment, they scheduled a phone screen with me. That was about a 30 min conversation that were general questions about items on my resume, things like accidents/incidents, checkride failures and why do you want to work here type of questions. The call ended with an offer to come in for an interview in CLT. They sent hotel and flight info appropriately. Be patient with the... -

99% similarity to the other reviews and questions posted. When you arrive downstairs they'll pull everyone into the conference room and begin their company presentation. After that, they had everyone wait in the side lobby and started calling people in for their actual interview. They pull in order of who has to fly out first. The HR portion was first. Very easy going conversation about previous work experience, lifestyle, future plans, etc. Following that, the technical portion was shot for... -

Interview process was exactly as previously described. Very relaxed atmosphere, make sure you show up an hour early to the interview, first thing you will do is turn in your logbooks and documents for review. Then they will call everyone in, introduce themselves, and give a company presentation. After the presentation, they will then start calling in people for the interviews in order of flights home. The actual interview was very laid back, they do a great job making you feel relaxed. They... -

Very similar to other reports listed on this site. The study guide was spot on and I only had one surprise which was pretty low threat. Phone Interview was very laid back and just asked a few basic questions. The whole phone call lasted 20 minutes. Questions started off with tell me about yourself and why Piedmont. Then, I was asked questions to verify my application such as any traffic tickets, arrests, DUIs, drug convictions, and training failures. Just answer honestly and make... -

Interview process was nearly identical to other reviews found here. Very relaxed atmosphere starting with turning in logbooks for review and a presentation over the company. Recruiters said that the hardest part was over and that the interview would just be a casual conversation and it was. Started with HR questions consisting of ones like tell us about yourself and why Piedmont so have those explanations down as they are almost certainly the first to be asked. After that there were some...
