  • Technical interview was first, over MSTeams. They send a few Jepp charts to study, although these weren't the ones used. They basically give a scenario where you are doing a flight from one place to another under IFR. So they have you copy down a CRAFT clearance (which was a full route) and see how you do with that. They ask you a few regulation questions (definitely know whether you can takeoff and land under part 91 or 135). Ask about hotspots, ask me to brief a SID, how I would fly it. Along the way they ask you some random chart symbology like the MSA, highest obstacle, frequencies, etc. Just know everything about Jepp charts. What would you do if you lost communication in this scenario, can you attempt this approach under 91, what about 135, etc. Good...

The interview was very straight forward, no trick questions. For the technical interview we reviewed how to fly a full IRF flight plan reviewing symbology and procedures of a SID, STAR, ILS, and requirements for an alternate airport. Also went over some basic VFR sectional data such as airport specifications based off of the sectional. Sim was a very basic SID (essentially climb out instructions) with an ILS and missed apch, all with GPS failed so it was only by use of ground based nav and...

Technical interview was very much like the study guide. There was more questions on 135 regulations than I anticipated but was very much like the study guide said. Jepp charts, brief a STAR and ILS. Some basic VFR questions as well that were easy. Got a call to to schedule the in person interview about a week later. HR interview was very straight forward, basically a conversation to see if you are sociable. Sim interview was the departure runway 23 on Morristown 7, vectors to ILS 23 and a...

Technical, sim, and HR were exactly as expected. The HR interview was more of a conversation than an interview, and the sim was a departure, an ILS, and a missed approach with a VOR to a hold. Many of us got SIDs and approaches that were not...

After conference, received email about the interview for the following week. Technical interview was through team video call and it was somewhat similar to the study guide here. I heard back a week after though phone call and scheduled for in-person interview and sim for the following week. Quick HR interview. Sim was exactly what the study guide...

Technical interview was exactly as described on here. Copy a CRAFT and a simulation flight. Briefing a SID and Approach, then some VFR chart symbology. If you're a CFI you'll do just fine. Study Jepp plates. You'll learn to like them way more than the standard FAA plates. Got a call about a month later for in person interview in Orlando. (view the study guide of this website).  Sim paused and asked how to enter the hold. Some people in my interview group did get a SID and ILS from an...

The technical interview is very straightforward no tricks. Use the study guide and you will be fine. There was a dinner and presentation for a group of 25 with the HR interview the next day. The HR and pilot recruiting team are just as friendly as everybody says. Just be friendly and show genuine interest in the company. There is also a brief sim evaluation with a SID and approach before the HR interview. The simulator was G1000 and they have GPS failed so you fly only with green needles....

Absolutely as everyone else had written. Technical interview by MS Teams to go over some Jepp IFR charts/plates, a random airport on a sectional. Got the call for Orlando HR interview and sim a little over a week after the Teams interview. Those were exactly as advertised as well. I got the KMMU departure and ILS as others had. Some in my interview group got the KMTJ2.MTJ and KMTJ ILS...

Expect an informational session, very in depth explaining all aspects of the position as well as the compensation. Dress code was business casual and dinner was served Several chief pilots and assistant pilots were there. Opportunity to talk with the other pilots and employees was great for networking. Prepare for a longer second day. Dress code is business. Since I completed the technical questions at the WAI conference, I wasn't asked anything technical at the Orlando interview. They will...

The technical interview was on a Teams call. It was pretty straight forward. I introduced myself and then he asked questions about various approach plates. The HR and sim eval were also similar to what other applicants have noted. The HR interview we talked about general questions, (view the study guide of this website, including the Sim/Scenario section). Everything was straight forward and as described in other testimonies. Good...

I was called after 2 years of pursing this job. After getting the invite to the Technical interview - I was on a Teams call in 4 days. This is exactly like what everyone else here has written about. What I would add is thisâ?¦ they care about culture here. You have to be more than just an encyclopedia of Jepp knowledge (though that is essential). After this I had to wait an entire month for my in person interview. Very nerve racking but we made it. I was flown down to Orlando (this too is...
