  • Technical interview was first, over MSTeams. They send a few Jepp charts to study, although these weren't the ones used. They basically give a scenario where you are doing a flight from one place to another under IFR. So they have you copy down a CRAFT clearance (which was a full route) and see how you do with that. They ask you a few regulation questions (definitely know whether you can takeoff and land under part 91 or 135). Ask about hotspots, ask me to brief a SID, how I would fly it. Along the way they ask you some random chart symbology like the MSA, highest obstacle, frequencies, etc. Just know everything about Jepp charts. What would you do if you lost communication in this scenario, can you attempt this approach under 91, what about 135, etc. Good...

Interview was just as others have described here. Day one was a social event and company presentation, get to know everyone, be friendly as they are watching. Day two was the HR and sim interview. Some did HR first, some started with the sim. Sim portion consisted of a sid with vectors for an ILS and missed. (MMU 7, ILS 23, missed approach) HR portion felt like a relaxed conversation: Why PlaneSense, Why Aviation, Scariest moment in an aircraft, and a scenario event. Overall very straight...

Starts with a dinner meet n greet at the hotel. Very laid back atmosphere. This is a mom and pop style operation. That said, and what I can appreciate. It is very well conducted and well executed. It's a younger crowd from most of the applicants, and to be expected, it's PC-12's. The chief pilots and staff are very professional, and I felt like the old guy in the room, but most of the guys and girl there have been with the company for a decade or more. Unheard of in this industry, and a...

Technical interview over the phone was similar to the questions here. CRAFT clearance initiates a discussion about a whole flight to include briefings on: taxi plan, SID, STAR and Approach. If yo can know every symbol on those charts and have a confident brief you will do well. they fly you in the day before for a low pressure social where they brief company info and give you a chance to ask questions. They have a training contract now, I'm not sure if its new but I didn't see info on it...

Everything listed on here by previous reviews is literally spot on. The tech interview is the gateway into the job. Know how to brief all approach (SID, STAR, ILS, VOR etc.) plates, know your 91/135 regs for landing and alternates. Know your VFR chart symbology and weather. Make sure you are comfortable taking down a complex CRAFT for a big airport (I got Denver - Van Nuys). As far as the second round of interviews goes (if you get selected), the HR interview is super basic, just be...

My interview was very similar to all of the previous ones listed here. I was asked to go from KDEN to KVNY. We went over various items on the KDEN airport diagram then got my CRAFT which I did ask to be repeated. We looked at the associated STAR and had to brief the plate. Then we viewed the approach plate for the GPS approach into KVNY. I briefed the approach, she asked me about basically every single item on the chart. In between all of this we discussed various regulations such as 91 and...

Got a call for the technical and scheduled it about 2 weeks out. Technical was about 25 minutes of questions being asked and 5-10 minutes for my questions. Given basic CRAFT clearance and asked to read it back (nothing crazy), asked to brief a SID, part 91 and 135 operations (if you can depart depending on destination weather and if you look and see if the visibility drops below visibility prescribed on the approach),  converting takeoff minimums FPNM to FPM, can you get clearance on...

The entire process was friendly and professional. The information here for each step is spot on accurate. I emailed recruiters (late Spring early Summer) asking if they hire retired 121 pilots which they responded to with a yes. I hand carried a cover letter to the recruiters at their Oshkosh Airshow recruitment tent. I wore a shirt and tie for the teamâ??s technical interview. I wore a shirt, tie, and casual jacket for the â??socialâ? dinner and company presentation. I wore a formal...

Tech interview was about 25 minutes, first few minutes was getting to know each other and then went right into talking about the approach plates. What frequency do you use if leaving from a towered airport if the airport is closed, what does descend via mean vs just descend, flyby vs flyover waypoints ect. HR interview was about 30 minutes asking about pay customer experience jobs and past jobs as a pilot. Sim interview was a SID with vectors to an ILS and missed...

Interview was straightforward and a great experience. First step is the technical portion and consisted of IFR and VFR knowledge. I was sent multiple Jeppesen plates prior to the interview to study (Know all the symbols since you could be asked about any of them randomly). We went over a VOR approach and a SID. Questions are straightforward but know how to brief these types of plates too and be sure to carefully read the notes section. The VFR questions were straightforward as well. Was...
