I was in the morning group. Due to the construction near the hotel it was suggested to plan for 20 minutes ride to HQ/Training Center. I left along with 2 other candidates on the 6:30am shuttle. Arrive around 7 am. Checked in with the security window and received the name tag. We all gathered in the holding area made introductions as others arrived and had coffee and snacks. As others have noted they gathered logbooks on arrival. MAKE SURE you have your ATP, Medical, Radio Telephone Operators Permit with you. There were a couple of guys that had to come out of the interview to go across the hall to the closet where our bags were stowed to retrieve these items. Several...

I was in the afternoon group. Everything was exactly what this website says. Start off with a tour of the campus where you had plenty of time to ask any questions you wanted and they try to sell Southwest to you. After the tour they bring you in the room and bring everybody in one by one for each one of the three sections. I was given the scenario for fuel contamination. They lay out a couple maps in front of you and allow you to take notes if youâ??d like. I was the acting captain and... -

The entire day was a wonderful experience, but very competitive. The tour of the facility was amazing and thorough. Interviewers were very kind. Very similar to examples written on here. They are interviewing a ton of applicants, but if selected for an interview, you are there for a reason! Good... -

I was in the first morning interview group, so I stayed at one of the recommended hotels. They have shuttle service and know the routine for SWA interviews. The shuttle can get crowded, but one of the people I met the day before had a car and offered me a ride. Be on the lookout for an email to print with a bar code the day before your interview to check in at HQ Met at the headquarters with 30 other pilots in the lobby and checked in with security. They have a bag storage room that will get... -

I was in PM group, 21 of us total in that group. It was exactly like what everyone has already said. Excellent experience overall. Review the questions and sbq scenarios is my best suggestion. We were told we would hear back in 7-21 days. Phone call if an offer is being made, email if... -

interview wasnâ??t too bad. If you looked at AviationInterviews and their study guide on there it was exactly like that. Got there at 10:30, started a tour from about 11-12:30. Listened to their speech about why you should come to SW. finished that about 1:15. Then got into the lobby again and then they started calling us in randomly for an SBQ, HR panel (2 people), and logbook review. SBQ: super simple, (view the study guide of this website). HR: lot of TMAAT, TMAY. logbook: super... -

Southwest Airlines FO Interview Experience in April. Overall, the experience was exactly as many have described very relaxed, welcoming, and genuinely enjoyable. From the moment you arrive on campus, everyone goes out of their way to make you feel comfortable. You can tell people truly enjoy working there. The day started with the tour and an initial briefing, which aligned with what has been previously shared by others. After that, we were taken to the waiting area to begin the interview... -

Why Southwest, TMAAT questions, (view the study guide of this website). Very intimate panel interview, the pilot and HR rep were very friendly, warm and welcoming. Logbook- pretty straight forward: failed checkrides, when can you start, read off your flight times from your logbook to ensure they match your logbook sheet. Then SBQ, (view the Sim/Scenario section in the study guide of this website). All in all great experience, definitely more conversational than any set questions.... -

I was in the afternoon interview group which consisted of 23 of us. The process started with all of us handing in our logbooks then straight into a tour around the SWA headquarters and campus/sim building. Two SWA captains were our guides and both were very friendly and personable and happy to answer our many questions. The tour took about an hour. After that we came back to the headquarters building and received a presentation by another SWA Captain. The presentation was there was their way...
