I was in the morning group. Due to the construction near the hotel it was suggested to plan for 20 minutes ride to HQ/Training Center. I left along with 2 other candidates on the 6:30am shuttle. Arrive around 7 am. Checked in with the security window and received the name tag. We all gathered in the holding area made introductions as others arrived and had coffee and snacks. As others have noted they gathered logbooks on arrival. MAKE SURE you have your ATP, Medical, Radio Telephone Operators Permit with you. There were a couple of guys that had to come out of the interview to go across the hall to the closet where our bags were stowed to retrieve these items. Several...

Everything in this guide for the current interviews are very accurate! There were approximately 40-50 interviews in this one day. Check in at the front desk and hand in your log books. All personal belongings kept in secure room including cell phones for the durations of the interview process. 45 minute presentation to start. Then there is HR interview (about 30-40 minutes), Logbook review (about 20-30 minutes) then Scenario Based Question (about 20-30 minutes). All these are done in random... -

Canâ??t add much to what others said as they were spot on. My panel (HR and pilot) was awkward. The pilot would ask me a question and cut me off and move onto the next one. â??Why WN? Why now?â? I gave a personal anecdote of great WN customer service and he skipped the rest and went onto another question. Very odd experience but the HR person was very nice. All and all a good experience but the panel didnâ??t leave warm and... -

Overall it was a great experience. They really make you feel like they want to hire you. I was in the afternoon group, so we started off with the tour first. Then it was interview time. I started off with the HR portion. (view the stuy guide of this website). Then logbook review was next. Just make sure you complete the logbook interview sheet and have all the things they want you to have tabbed. SBQ was last. Hour outside of MCO line of WX. F/A calls up with a medical. What are... -

Had a great experience despite not getting the job. Friendly people and amazing building. Like others, three modules to complete. HR panel was with a PHX captain and HR rep. SBQ was with a line captain and logbook review was with a different line captain. For the logbook review, make sure to bring the logbook review form they give you and have your multi turbine totals... -

Overall, great experience. Stay at a Hotel. Great restaurant in lobby. Tons of SWA employees stay here. Early morning group, left hotel at 0630. Check in with security, get a sticker visitor badge. Wait for interviewees to show up, introduce yourself and be friendly to everyone. Put your bags away, bring your log books, medical, fcc, atp, all necessary documents with you. Once everyone is there, you'll have a presentation in the board room on the state of the airline and what to expect. Once... -

0700 shuttle from Hotel 0805 presentation Interviews started shortly afterwards I did the logbook, SBQ, and then the HR panel. SBQ was BOI to LAS FL380- just at top of climb you look on the overhead and see 0psi for crew and passenger O2. BOI was OVC 200 and 1/2SM with snow MSA was 12400 Dispatch wanted to go to Salt Lake City which was an extra 5 min of flight time. They were calling OVC 500 and 1 mile vis. HR portion: -TMAY but starting with flight history -Why SWA -Challenge in my flying... -

All the experiences here are spot on. Stayed at the double tree Hilton. Took the hotel shuttle at 6:30am. Reached Southwest headquarters at 7am. Did the check in at security. The interview was 3 parts. Did the HR interview first. Was asked TMAY and TMAAT. No why SW. next was logbook review. Very straight forward. Question about check rides and times. Next SBQ. (view the study guide of this website). They want to see your decision making skills. Next tour of training center. Finished... -

Had to pick an interview date within 10 days of the offer, others had even less time. Didnâ??t stay at one of the recommended hotels, just got a Lyft to the facility. Day starts with a very long tour of training facility, then a presentation of where Southwest is as a company. In all, 3 hours+ from arrival (if youâ??re early) to starting the interview. All candidates ended up having fun talking to each other. Keep your documents on you once you go to the waiting area to get called back. HR... -

Experience was positive. They try to make you feel at ease with a tour, it gets you pretty excited too. Gouges were all fairly accurate. Definitely got tripped up on the SBQ, I was given a medical issue, Iâ??m an EMS 135 guy, so I ALWAYS have doctors and nurses with me, I also was unaware of a lot of the resources 121 guys have at their disposal. I was the FO in the scenario, and at the end he said â??why didnâ??t you include the captain in your decision making?â? What the pretend...
