I was in the morning group. Due to the construction near the hotel it was suggested to plan for 20 minutes ride to HQ/Training Center. I left along with 2 other candidates on the 6:30am shuttle. Arrive around 7 am. Checked in with the security window and received the name tag. We all gathered in the holding area made introductions as others arrived and had coffee and snacks. As others have noted they gathered logbooks on arrival. MAKE SURE you have your ATP, Medical, Radio Telephone Operators Permit with you. There were a couple of guys that had to come out of the interview to go across the hall to the closet where our bags were stowed to retrieve these items. Several...

I was B group at 1100. There were 22 candidates in the group. First they will take your logbooks and logbook review form. After that we started with a tour of the training center which lasted about 45 minutes. Next, we went into a hour long briefing with a current captain who talked about company culture, bases, pay, benefits and answered any questions we had. Around 1300 we began the actual interview process. The group gathered in a waiting room where they had snacks and coffee. As we... -

Was part of the PM group. Overall a great experience, everyone was incredibly friendly. 3 part interview as expected. Seems like they are truthfully just looking to gauge your personality and how well youâ??ll be able to work with others. Study the hr questions on here for that portion. My sbq was bad weather quickly moving in with no filed alternate, and a captain that didnâ??t was to listen to any go around callouts. Make sure to include dispatch, atc, flight attendants and passengers in... -

Exactly as described by others. Took the 7am shuttle over from the hotel with about 8 others. Chatted until about 7:45-8 and then company briefing. 3 part interview followed as others have mentioned. HR portion first. Very quick questioning (TMAY, Why SWA, (view the study guide of this website). Logbook next- legal questions, dates of checkrides, date available to start, then just chatted and got to know each other. SBQ was last and was maybe 5 total minutes. Disruptive passenger BWI-DAL.... -

Very relaxed. Just be yourself when you check in! Our group had 20 candidates. Part of AM group and had HR, Logbook Review, and SBQ in that order then the tour. HR questions are as studied. TMAY, Why SWA, TMAAT you had a difficult flight, etc. Logbook Review is straightforward. The recruiter asked one questions about TMAAT. SBQ was fuel contamination. Just make sure to include everyone and ask questions. During each portion they usually take notes, donâ??t worry if theyâ??re not making eye... -

Overall Structure of the Day Very organized and professional. The day included: Logbook review Scenario-Based Question (SBQ) with role play HR + Pilot panel interview The atmosphere was professional and efficient. Some portions were conversational, others were more rapid-fire and structured. Logbook Review Conducted by a pilot interviewer. Very straightforward. Primarily data verification and entering totals. Expect: Total time breakdowns (TT, turbine, PIC/SIC, etc.) Type rating discussion... -

Process is exactly like what youâ??ve read here. I was in the AM group, arrived by 0730, check in with email they provided. Given a presentation on the company which lasted about 45 min. Then all taken to a nice waiting room with drinks and snacks that are available to you throughout the day. We were each called back one by one for one of the three portions of the interview (logbook, HR panel review, and SBQ). Not everyone does it in the same order. I did the logbook review first, very... -

I was part of group B. I arrived at 10:05 local time. Once inside, you have to register at the front desk, and they give me a visitor ID (label you must put on your chest). Then we socialized and got to know each other. Around 10:45, they collected our logbooks and gave us a short briefing of what we would see during the day. We stored our bags and took a bus to see the facilities. The tour takes you through different training rooms, company offices, the Sims, etc. Then a 45 minutes of a... -

Very straight forward and laidback! SBQ, Logbook, and HR panel. Don't come off as scripted. Multiple times they told us to just be yourself. Questions were similar to study guide. Good... -

Interview was just as described on this page. I was part of the PM group. Day started with a tour of the facilities which let me sayâ?¦ are pretty impressive. After we got done with the tour, we went in for a 45min company presentation and after than we all went to a waiting room were we got called randomly for our interviews. Interviews were really straightforward and exactly as described here. They truly want you to succeed and they do their best to make you feel comfortable. Honestly... -

Started in the AM group with a short presentation on the company. Then went into the general seating area and they pulled us back 1 by 1 through the interview process. I had logbook review first which was super quick and straightforward. Just make sure logbooks are clean and best case self-explanatory. Went over the interview form hours together and that was it. Went into the SBQ and had a similar scenario to those described on this website. Straightforward as well. HR portion took a bit...
