  • I was in the morning group. Due to the construction near the hotel it was suggested to plan for 20 minutes ride to HQ/Training Center. I left along with 2 other candidates on the 6:30am shuttle. Arrive around 7 am. Checked in with the security window and received the name tag. We all gathered in the holding area made introductions as others arrived and had coffee and snacks. As others have noted they gathered logbooks on arrival. MAKE SURE you have your ATP, Medical, Radio Telephone Operators Permit with you. There were a couple of guys that had to come out of the interview to go across the hall to the closet where our bags were stowed to retrieve these items. Several...

Everything on here is correct, the material and peopleâ??s previous experience.  We started the interview with a company presentation and future goals, after we went to a waiting room where we were called one by one for three different interviews. HR panel, Log book and SBQ. The atmosphere is very relaxed they really want to get to know you but you donâ??t get any feed back. After everyone is interviewed they take you on a tour through the headquarters and the sim bay.  Amazing...

I stayed at a hotel and was gonna catch the 9:30 shuttle, but another person had an uber and invited me to join so 5 of us arrived around 9:30 an hour early. I checked in and got my name-tag and We chatted in the lobby as more people trickled in. We then put all our luggage into a closet and hopped onto the bus to tour the facility. Which is super impressive and an amazing experience. Once we returned we sat in a room for a presentation and asked questions. Great experience. Very diverse...

Similar to everyone else. Arrived the day prior, stayed at a hotel and took the shuttle in at 0630. Met up with everyone else interviewing. Check-in began at 0730. Presentation started shortly after 8 and then everyone hung out in the waiting area as they called people in for each portion. Overall, great experience, really fun interview team out there and they aim to make it incredibly comfortable. Previous trip reports, SBQ info on here are spot on. On the SBQ, work through your decision...

Overall, very similar experience noted by everyone here. I stayed at a hotel and took the 0630 shuttle in. Everyone was real friendly and process starts with a company presentation and then onto the interview rounds. Logbook review and SBQ were one on one. Panel had 2 pilots and 1 HR rep. SBQ was a fuel contamination scenario as described in the sim portion here. HR panel was fairly standard and friendly. Asked TMAY, qualities of an FO, your qualities, and other HR type questions, (view the...

Exactly how it was on here. PM group, met in the lobby checked in then took a tour of the training facility. Came back for a 45 minute presentation on Southwest. Went into the holding room called back individually. I had SBQ, Logbook, HR. Everyone was really nice and inviting, they donâ??t give much feedback on how youâ??re doing. Great...

I recently completed my interview with Southwest, and I wanted to share my experience. Everything was exactly as described here on the site. We were gathered in a common lobby area, and I was placed in the second group. They started with a short tour of the facility, which was a great way to break the ice and see the environment. After that, we moved to the scenario portion, where they streamed the questions. In my scenario, I had fuel contamination in flight. The questions were very similar...

Pretty solid gauge in all of these posts for how the day goes so I'll just include questions I was asked overall and my SBQ scenario. Overall great experience hoping to hear back in about 2 weeks as they said. Also some additional info from the presentation that i thought was useful: Hiring planned for 350+ just in Q1 2-026 maybe 700 total next year, they are now getting 2 Max 8s for each Max 7 on order so regardless of Max 7 certification the plan is to continue hiring, classes are...

Was part of the morning group, arrived before 0730, scanned barcode given to us a few days prior, all gathered in the waiting room where we handed in logbooks, then walked to another room for the SWA introduction explaining company. From there went back to waiting area to get called separately for the 3 part interview, Panel, Logbooks, & SBQ. PANEL- pretty straight forward took maybe 15 minutes, no surprises everything in here was really helpful -TMAY, WHY SWA, TMAAT LOGBOOK- again...

Spot on from everyone else before. Very relaxed environment - I was in the AM group and 20 of the 23 people were there by 7am (interviews began at 8am, they requested we show up by 730am). They had us in a waiting area with some snacks and coffee and we put our bags and electronic devices away. Then we got a presentation on the current state of Southwest and how the interview process would go. We were told it's generally 2 weeks to hear back but given our proximity to the Holiday,  it...

Low threat, Tmay Tmaat difficult flight, difficult captain Logbook review, asked me a lot about my ppl endorsement which was weird( i lost my very original logbook just after my ppl. So was asking about my endorsements mentioned i could have had the FAA get me my 8710. Seemed silly. Since i already have my atp and received all my other endorsements through the military...
