First off, I was interviewed for an instructor role in the company. I put my resume online several weeks ago and one day I was contacted by a recruiter from the company regarding their interest in my qualifications. I was asked to apply as soon as possible. I applied that same day and was called for a phone interview the next day. Three days later I was called for a second interview that took place this week. The interview was very relaxed and lasted about an hour. I was...

Info I received on here was almost exactly what my experience was. I stayed at one of the recommended hotels and took the 6:30 shuttle to HQ assuming Iâ??d be the first one but almost everyone else had the same idea. Security check in and wait. They begin by taking everyoneâ??s log books to the back and a captain takes everyone to a conference room for a PowerPoint on history, cultures pay and Benifits. Then the fun begins and they come out to the waiting area and call you back one at a... -

The entire interview process was extremely laid-back and friendly. There were about 20 applicants in the morning group, and we all stayed in one main room while interviewers came to get us for three separate interviews: A panel interview with one HR representative and one pilot A logbook review with a pilot A one-on-one scenario interview with a pilot Nothing in the process had changed from the prep material on the site â?? all the questions came directly from the question bank. There was a... -

I was in the morning group. Due to the construction near the hotel it was suggested to plan for 20 minutes ride to HQ/Training Center. I left along with 2 other candidates on the 6:30am shuttle. Arrive around 7 am. Checked in with the security window and received the name tag. We all gathered in the holding area made introductions as others arrived and had coffee and snacks. As others have noted they gathered logbooks on arrival. MAKE SURE you have your ATP, Medical, Radio Telephone... -

I did the Sim first, (view the Sim/Scenario section of this website). Then the Panel interview - Why SWA and why now. What are qualities of a bad captain (i used good qualities to define). Was then asked to expand on one of the qualities (being humble) They asked when have you been humbled as a CA. Tell me about yourself (donâ??t repeat whatâ??s on the resume). How will you handle being an f/o again? TMATW you had to communicate effectively as a Captain. What was... -

HR portion was very low stress. Logbook portion was just a discussion about the numbers. Situational portion was a flight from HOU to DAL, questions were asked, (view the study guide of this website). Debrief. Pretty... -

It was pretty relaxed and casual- my group of interviewees were all fairly senior. Panel interview was pretty chill and the logbook seemed to be just asking about times and job history. My technical was a Captain who didn't listen to the FO with sketchy weather at destination. Eventually had to take the controls and divert. Not totally sure what they were looking for other than thought... -

I was in the 1030 group. Arrived to the facility 10 min early (they specifically request you to arrive no earlier than 15 min). Got a name tag from the nice lady at the front desk and mingled with all the other applicants. Another employee then called us all to attention and took our logbooks on a cart. We were able to leave our bags in a storage room and enter anytime throughout the day. Started with a tour of the facility by two pilots on a really nice and clean bus. We were able to ask...

I went in the night before and stayed at a hotel. Checked in and they took your logbooks. We went on tour first and it was awesome to see the training facility and sim bay. This is the time to ask questions you don’t want to ask your interviewers. After that we had a presentation, which we were told that from now on ALL interviews go to the board for review and because of that, we wouldn’t hear back for about 2 weeks. I think this is a new thing as hiring is slowing down from...
