I was in the morning group. Due to the construction near the hotel it was suggested to plan for 20 minutes ride to HQ/Training Center. I left along with 2 other candidates on the 6:30am shuttle. Arrive around 7 am. Checked in with the security window and received the name tag. We all gathered in the holding area made introductions as others arrived and had coffee and snacks. As others have noted they gathered logbooks on arrival. MAKE SURE you have your ATP, Medical, Radio Telephone Operators Permit with you. There were a couple of guys that had to come out of the interview to go across the hall to the closet where our bags were stowed to retrieve these items. Several...

Waiting to hear back for the yes or no. Absolutely amazing experience. Still grinning ear to ear! Started my interview with the â??people department (HR).â? Was asked to give a 1-2 minute overview of who I am and my career (I talked fast, hit the highlights). Why Southwest. What would you bring to the culture and company here. TMAAT you had a conflict. TMAAT you had a difficult or scary flight. TMAAT you provided excellent customer service. Explain a gap between jobs. Overall it was very... -

I was asked a few HR type questions. (view the study guide of this website). Other than that it was, tell me about yourself. SBQ was either a Fuel contamination DAL- LAX 30 min into the flight dispatch messages you, or Windshield. Logbook was just verifying your times and employers are all... -

On par with other reviews. Started the day with an hour brief of SW performance #s and growth plan. I was morning session. SBQ first: BWI-FLL at FL410. Halfway there get possible fuel contamination ACARs. Weather covering GA and SC. Then HR panel: TMAY, What makes SW different from the others, TMAAT you had an emergency, TMAAT you had a conflict, Do you have any regrets about your career, How would you deal with a crew member issue / what changes if it's a pax, What will be your biggest... -

Everything on here is correct, the material and peopleâ??s previous experience. We started the interview with a company presentation and future goals, after we went to a waiting room where we were called one by one for three different interviews. HR panel, Log book and SBQ. The atmosphere is very relaxed they really want to get to know you but you donâ??t get any feed back. After everyone is interviewed they take you on a tour through the headquarters and the sim bay. Amazing... -

Check in at 7:30, interviews start at 9:00. They sit you down for a PowerPoint presentation and answer some questions before the interview starts. 3 part interview: Panel (HR and pilot), Logbook review (this can take time if you donâ??t come prepared so make sure you do the provided logbook sheet ahead of time and read it carefully), and a scenario based question. Was finished by 1:30. Everyone is very nice and it really feels like they want you to... -

Got there early the day of the interview. I checked in and got a temporary badge. Once we started we had a brief PowerPoint about the company. Then interviews started and broken into 3 peices and in no particular order. Mine was. HR Questions. Logbook. Scenario. HR went over work history. Really grilled me over not working a year at some places. Tell me about yourself. Conflict with a Coworker. Most questions you can find in study guide. Logbook. Pretty straightforward. Just asked a few... -

Pretty standard from the interview experiences of others. Start off with the tour of the facilities and then eventually leading into a three part interview. Can be in any order, but there is a standard HR portion (why SWA, TMAT). Then, there is a logbook portion, where they are looking at your totals, make sure the logbook sheet they make you fill out adds up because I know they will dig into it during the interview if not. Then, the SBQ portion, I got a fuel contamination issue halfway from... -

I stayed at a hotel and was gonna catch the 9:30 shuttle, but another person had an uber and invited me to join so 5 of us arrived around 9:30 an hour early. I checked in and got my name-tag and We chatted in the lobby as more people trickled in. We then put all our luggage into a closet and hopped onto the bus to tour the facility. Which is super impressive and an amazing experience. Once we returned we sat in a room for a presentation and asked questions. Great experience. Very diverse... -

Similar to everyone else. Arrived the day prior, stayed at a hotel and took the shuttle in at 0630. Met up with everyone else interviewing. Check-in began at 0730. Presentation started shortly after 8 and then everyone hung out in the waiting area as they called people in for each portion. Overall, great experience, really fun interview team out there and they aim to make it incredibly comfortable. Previous trip reports, SBQ info on here are spot on. On the SBQ, work through your decision...
