I was in the morning group. Due to the construction near the hotel it was suggested to plan for 20 minutes ride to HQ/Training Center. I left along with 2 other candidates on the 6:30am shuttle. Arrive around 7 am. Checked in with the security window and received the name tag. We all gathered in the holding area made introductions as others arrived and had coffee and snacks. As others have noted they gathered logbooks on arrival. MAKE SURE you have your ATP, Medical, Radio Telephone Operators Permit with you. There were a couple of guys that had to come out of the interview to go across the hall to the closet where our bags were stowed to retrieve these items. Several...

Panel: TMAY (career focused), Why SWA, TMAAT questions, (view the study guide of this website, including the Sim/Scenario section). What questions do you have for us (have questions ready. They mentioned at one point they expect you to ask questions). Logbook review: Very laid back. Checked out my ATP, medical, FCC certs. He appreciated that I had very detailed tabs on my logbooks. List of check box type questions. Had me read the numbers off of my logbook review form (make sure... -

I was in the AM group. Class size of about 30 in the morning and 30 in the afternoon. I took the 0630 shuttle from the hotel as its first come first serve, and even that shuttle was relatively full. Starts off with a presentation of the history of the airline and the major bulletin points of the current contract. Then itâ??s interview time. You all wait in the waiting room and chat, and the interviewers come out and call your name. Bonus points if youâ??re in the bathroom when they call... -

Interviewing with SWA was an amazing experience. They put you at ease and really mean it when they say "be yourself". They take you on a tour of the training center and show you all of the SWA memorabilia there. A current line pilot showed us a presentation with the current and projected fleet, bidding, schedules, pay and more info than my current employer provided during my INDOC! We then went to a waiting room with snacks and drinks and were called one by one for each of 3 parts. HR,... -

Was the morning group. Started off the briefing about the company, very laid back and then we all hung out at the hiring break room near the entrance. Everyone does 3 events, SBQ, HR, Logbook review. And not in any specific order. After that we did a tour of the LEAD building which is their training facility. WOW!!! Question asked for all events were a lot of the same that are on here. Be humble and yourself. Enjoy and good luck to... -

My Southwest interview experience was very positive overall. The afternoon group started with a tour of the LEADs training center, which was impressive and a great way to kick things off. The rest of the interview process aligned with whatâ??s been shared in previous posts. The employees were exceptionally kind and made what is naturally a long day feel welcoming and well-organized. Candidate backgrounds seemed to vary widely, but everyone brought strong, unique experience to the table.... -

Great time, much like everyone else has mentioned on here. No new surprises for me at least. HR panel , 2 pilots , hr rep. SBQ with one pilot, and logbook review with another pilot. Very welcoming and relaxed there. Enjoy yourself, be honest, and be humble. And youâ??ll either get a tour after this or before depending on what time you have picked for your interview. Question bank on here was pretty much what was asked from many in my group as well as... -

Took the 0630 van to the interview, was told they go to the airport first then training center and arrived super early. Chatted with all the applicants until they took us all into a waiting room with lounge chairs, food and drinks to collect logbooks. I was in the AM group and we received about a 30-45 min briefing from one of the SW pilots and he went over pay, QOL, retirements, fleet plans etc. One thing you will notice is everyone is super friendly, like everyone either smiled or said... -

Was a great day. Take it all in, be humble, be yourself. Logbook Straight forward as long as your times are correct. Read times off the Logbook review sheet and a few standard questions they ask everyone. Then chatted for about 5 mins SBQ Fuel contamination DENâ??LAX flight. LAS was the closest but +TS, PHX was about five minutes farther 200 and 1/2, and ONT was significantly farther at around 50 minutes. Went through that, then chatted for about 15 minutes HR questions, (view the study... -

Great experience. The environment when you walk in to HQ is awesome. Take a gander at all the liveries hanging from the ceiling. Say hello to everyone walking in. Get to know your interview-mates. It is just a great time! Everyone there wants you to succeed. When everyone says "be yourself" we truly mean it. I did a little bit of prep just to get some story ideas and I told them with my personality. You are qualified to be interviewing, they are just checking the "vibes" and some other stuff...
