I was in the morning group. Due to the construction near the hotel it was suggested to plan for 20 minutes ride to HQ/Training Center. I left along with 2 other candidates on the 6:30am shuttle. Arrive around 7 am. Checked in with the security window and received the name tag. We all gathered in the holding area made introductions as others arrived and had coffee and snacks. As others have noted they gathered logbooks on arrival. MAKE SURE you have your ATP, Medical, Radio Telephone Operators Permit with you. There were a couple of guys that had to come out of the interview to go across the hall to the closet where our bags were stowed to retrieve these items. Several...

The atmosphere actually felt pretty electric. I was the later start group for the day. They start by taking you on a tour of their facilities, and theyâ??re very lighthearted and humorous. You can see their culture that they advertise is really present. The tour and presentation took about an hour and a half. At that point, we all went into the people room, and we pulled aside one at a time for either a logbook review, SBQ, or interview. The logbook review was pretty relaxed, theyâ??ll... -

I was in the afternoon group and arrived around 10:30 a.m. You can leave your belongings in the storage room, then drop off your logbooks and paperwork with the staff. After that, we were given a tour of the training center, followed by a short break and a presentation about Southwest Airlines and what to expect if you get hired. Around 1pm, we gathered in the lobby and were called randomly. I had my logbook review first, where they verified my hours and I had a short conversation with the... -

Wonderful experience! I was in the PM group and got there a little earlier (9:45am or so) and am glad I did. There was one other guy there, so it made it really easy to start mingling, and the next 5 or 6 people that showed up naturally just came to chat with us which helped to get comfortable pretty quick. At around 10:45, they collected everyoneâ??s logbooks and PRD paperwork along with LORâ??s and any check airmen/management paperwork (I had all that with my PRD in a nice $1.50 three... -

As advertised in other posts on here. SBQ/Logbook/HRâ?¦no gotcha questions. Review the questions in the study guide and have some of your own stories to answer each. Itâ??s easiest to pair common theme questions with your stories. If there is something negative in your record, and address it with lessons learned then move on. Overall great... -

Took the 6:30am van from the hotel and made some friends on the way to HQ. Mingled outside with other candidates and signed in with security at about 7:00am. At around 7:30am a woman led us to a large waiting room where she told us how the day was going to go and collected our logbooks and phones. We were then led to an auditorium where they had a nice presentation about the company's history, pay compensation, benefits, and future outlook. After the presentation we were led back to the... -

I was in the afternoon group. Everything was exactly what this website says. Start off with a tour of the campus where you had plenty of time to ask any questions you wanted and they try to sell Southwest to you. After the tour they bring you in the room and bring everybody in one by one for each one of the three sections. I was given the scenario for fuel contamination. They lay out a couple maps in front of you and allow you to take notes if youâ??d like. I was the acting captain and... -

The entire day was a wonderful experience, but very competitive. The tour of the facility was amazing and thorough. Interviewers were very kind. Very similar to examples written on here. They are interviewing a ton of applicants, but if selected for an interview, you are there for a reason! Good... -

Fantastic experience at the SWA interview, it was exactly as expected. I submitted my app on the second to last day of the app window, received next steps email within 2 days. Submitted all items that night (make sure you complete ALL of it, including attaching something to all 3 slots of the LOR section otherwise they will not process it), got the email for an interview the next day. They flew me down the day prior on a SWA flight of my choice, I paid for my own hotel. Morning of, hotel... -
