The recruiting team and staff were all awesome! Friendly, welcoming, and created an enjoyable atmosphere. Below is my experience and perspective. That could, of course, vary depending on recruiters, candidates, and most importantly YOU (study, prep, attitude). I respect their time of contacting me and bringing me out to meet with them so I put great effort into studying, prepping, asking myself if this really is a good fit, and finally, practicing my answers so that they would get and see my BEST (they deserve it based on what they do for the candidates from start to finish). Phone screen (1 hour): Friendly, relaxed, enjoyable. If you are excited, then BE excited and let them get to know the real YOU (personality) and really why you want to work at XO (lifestyle, fit, passion). Talk through your background (personal life mixed with work/resume). Study the highlights of... Continue Reading this Interview Experience

  2. Feb 25, 2020 All the previous reviews are spot on. I interviewed at the new FLL office. There were 5 of us that interviewed for XO and 2 for CR. The company flies you to FLL on their own dime, puts you up in a Hilton property and has a first class limo service take you to and from the interview. The first part of the day started with a tour of their new facility and then on to the PRIA review and an explanation of all the benefits. We were split up into groups for different parts of the interview... Continue reading this interview experience

  3. Feb 25, 2020 Exactly the same as other XOJET interviewees have described. Nothing new to add. Be prepared to the best of your ability and you will go into the interview with the confidence that you can do the job. That confidence will come thru to the interviewers. Most of all, be yourself. I can't stress this... Continue reading this interview experience

  4. Feb 19, 2020 Very laid back. Everyone was very friendly and very professional. Not having interviewed in years I was nervous going in but the experience was excellent. They flew me to FLL (and home), and had a car service pick us up at the hotel in the morning. The group was diverse in experience and I’d be happy to fly with any of them. We had a brief by a Standards Captain, introductions then they pulled us out one at a time to go over paperwork and drug test. We then had HR and tech... Continue reading this interview experience

  5. Feb 18, 2020 Interview was scheduled at 8a.m. at XOJET’s new/temporary offices in Fort Lauderdale. I drove as I live in the south Florida area. I was the first to arrive at 7:30 which I think made a good impression. There were about 8 candidates in total with a variety of backgrounds. After a brief introduction we were split up into groups. I first went to the cog test which is essentially a basic aptitude test. Its timed and there’s no real way to prepare for it. It lasted about 45... Continue reading this interview experience

  6. Feb 05, 2020 Very laid back , went over resume and then a few technical questions....airspace speeds , 200 kts/250kts ect. Holding speeds and altitudes, a few more easy ones right off the list that other pilots had mentioned . What would I do if pax showed up with too much baggage, putting us over gross weight? Overall very casual and fairly easy, however I was not offered a... Continue reading this interview experience

  7. Jan 29, 2020 The interview started off with a Tour of the building and introduction to a lot of the staff. Everyone is very friendly! They put all of us in a room and answered any questions we had. There was a short technical and HR portion, both of them felt like a conversation more than an interview. Some sandwiches for lunch were provided and then the day was over. Then Technical portion, and questions.   Briefed an approach into SEA, coming down to min and you see the approach... 8. Jan 28, 2020 Interviewed out in Sacramento but interviews are now conducted in Florida. Seven of us interviewed: three for the Aviation side and four for the Crew Resources side. Tour of the facility followed by a company overview and the plans of moving the entire operation from California to Florida then any questions we had. Then split up to do HR panel, pilot panel and COG screening. The computer for the COG testing broke so I didn’t get to enjoy that experience. I did the HR panel first... 9. Jan 14, 2020 Applied for both XOJet First Officer and for XO Crew Resources FO positions. Contacted by HR for a phone screen with the XOJet side of the company. The contact email came 4 weeks to the day after I applied. The phone screen took place 5 days after I received the email. The phone screen was very laid back and conversational. I was asked to tell what I know about the company, which turned into a back and forth about the company, what it is like working for XO Jet, and answering questions... 10. Nov 12, 2019 Everything previously said was spot on. These people are extremely friendly and professional. Car service delivered group to do drug testing on first day. Day two was interview process. Pilot panel asked a few technical questions. These questions were ones that you should know based upon your background. Basic IFR rules. Know your stuff and if you don't know don't give any fluff. Bring copies of your resume. HR interview next. It was clear that they are all about customer service....
