  2. Dec 30, 2020 Got called for the interview over a weekend about 2 weeks prior to the scheduled date, was told due to COVID it would be a zoom meeting. I was told prior to the interview that there would be HR and pilots on the conference, the HR lady was very nice and wanted to know about my employment history, what I had done and what lead me to each of my moves. They asked the standard stuff. (view the study guide of this website).  I was told about the company, scheduling, pay, domiciles (remote... Continue reading this interview experience

  3. Dec 30, 2020 Friendly and professional team at Amerijet. Interviewed with a training Captain who recently joined the Amerijet team plus two HR crewmembers. Questions were mostly simple and straightforward knowledge questions. Instrument stuff and prior experience-related knowledge or tech based questions. Looking forward to hearing back from them, they said expect an answer two weeks from interview. Seems like a lot of expansion and change. Relax and be... Continue reading this interview experience

  4. Dec 29, 2020 Interview was with retired Captain from another airline that they brought in to assist with hiring surge and their own HR rep. They start off with company overview and details on their current expansion efforts and they appear to be doubling in planes (leasing) and pilots over the next year. They were recently awarding several ETOPS certs and plan to expand to additional routes and service areas. I was asked to detail my career and experience and they were very friendly and interactive... Continue reading this interview experience

  5. Dec 29, 2020 The interview and the experience is very close to what you will find here. The Zoom interview was 40 min. HR lady and one captain. Standard HR questions and most of the technical questions that will you find on here are also asked. It is a relaxed easy going experience. (view the study guide of this website).  I answered all of the wake turbulence correctly, such as takeoff and landings points, and the heavy clean, slow departing jet. Other than that the experience and the questions... Continue reading this interview experience

  6. Dec 18, 2020 Great interview, very similar to the previously asked questions. Few questions HR portion and majority based on your experience level technical portion. Took approximately 40 min and it was very positive. Waiting to hear back. I believe this company is a good company to work for and Amrijet doing a lot to continue the growth, which is always great for upgrades and seniority! TECH portion: Hold speeds, Airspace speeds, V1 cut (before/after/take off profile), and few scenario questions. Drift... Continue reading this interview experience

  7. Dec 18, 2020 I originally had an interview on December 17th and was told the morning of that it had to be rescheduled for the 18th. In the interview were a person from HR and a pilot that was brought back to the company to help with training and interviews. They both went through the companies history and where they are going in the future. Both of them were very nice and optimistic about the company and the expected growth on the horizon. The HR questions were very standard.  Do you have an ATP,... Continue reading this interview experience

  10. Nov 25, 2020 The interview directly mirrored the gouges on here and there were no surprises. It was a panel style interview conducted over Zoom with the Corporate Recruiter, the Director of Training, Director of Operations, and the Chief Pilot. The HR portion was incredibly simple with no TMAAT questions. The technical portion was straight forward. Know your holding speeds, procedure turn speeds, your takeoff briefing, and stabilized approach criteria. Be familiar with ETOPS enough to know what they are...
