Read Page 1 ... stripes, TAT vs SAT, compressibility effects, de-ice fluid types and basic holdover table knowledge, and he had me read a TAF to determine if an alternate is required. He had me copy down a clearance that he read and read it back to him. I had to brief a departure that had a high climb gradient required, but he was specific that I didn't need to read each fix and course and all that, but to just brief it. He also asked me what I'd do if I had a cracked windshield, and he specified "I know you'll grab a checklist like any good pilot would, but what would you expect to be on that checklist?" He asked about hot starts and hung starts, how cabin pressurization works, FICON codes, ft/nm to climb rate...

The technical interview with the chief pilot felt very similar to a check ride. But the questions provided here were extremely helpful. The entire interview was 1 hour long and conducted via Microsoft Teams. He started off by asking questions. (view the study guide of this website). After all of the technical questions he asked some questions about my flying record. At the very end he said I would hear back in about a week. With the interview 1 week before Christmas, I had a feeling it... -

Study the guide. Know how turbine engines work. Know your instrument charts. Know how to do decent calculations. I was also asked about a hot battery/bus. Mostly IFR scenarios and questions. Super nice guys and company. Be personable and have conversations outside of aviation so they can get to know who you are as a person and not just a pilot. Good luck, youâ??ll do... -

Contour interview process is in two parts - first a Microsoft Teams (audio only) call with a former pilot who is now the full time recruiter. He is extremely affable. Spend time talking with him and displaying who you are as a person. We talked about the Smoky Mountains, Bourbon Trail, etc. He is very talkative, so he doesn't mind just powering through with the information he must provide you (HR related material), but you should strive to make conversation and ask questions. Following... -

First interview with Brandon went great some simple questions about a STAR into Nashville and tell me about yourself questions. That interview was in late winter and the technical interview with Greg wasnâ??t until late spring. They call you up when the need arises so be patient. I was initially informed that all the positions had been filled shortly after my interview with Greg, but they reached out to me again in early this month and offered me the position and I accepted. Only two weeks... -

My first interview was with the with Brandon, who is very easy going and easy to talk to. It's a very simple interview he may ask a couple questions about you then makes you brief a star. He gave me a hold at a fix on the star then asked me what entry I would make into the hold. But the first interview is very simple. The second interview is with the chief pilot who is very well sicken but also easy to talk to. She went through a lot of IFR questions, " Be proficient in briefing STARs"... -

Went over little HR stuff, he made me simply made me brief over STAR, SID, and ILS KBNA to KCLT. Nothing crazy, and waiting on second interview. Know your commercial and instrument knowledge. Overall, interview went really smooth, and HR made this interview really professionally. Don't think there was a TMMAT question, and a lots of technical question, I think that will be the second one. In my opinion all he trying to see was that if he can fly with me for several hours and days with me,... -

Overall, the interviews are fairly straightforward, and very fair. Make sure you’re up on your SIDS and STARS, and get used to Jepp charts in advance. Good to know anti-icing/de-icing, turbojet functionality, etc. Reference Skywest’s interview study guide, I found that to be the most helpful in preparing. Their pathway is to Skywest, so it only makes sense to reference this. Better to over-prepare than to under, you’re applying for a jet job, jumping the line to a... -

During my first interview, I was speaking with Brandon who does recruiting for the company. His camera was not on, but mine was. He was very friendly and spoke about the pilot pathway program among other things before we got started with any questions. I was asked to brief an arrival into BNA, along with some other basic IFR stuff. The first interview I feel is more about interpersonal skills and some light technical knowledge. I was told I'd be passed to the second interview before we...
