FREE Endeavor Air pilot interview information and gouge

First off I applied online and did not hear back for a while, I called my buddy at the airline to see what the deal was and turns out they never received my app, I applied on their website and that worked. (applied feb 5, phone interview happened mar 5), now for the interview, they flew me up the night before and put me in a hotel like everyone else, that was cool I got to see the mall of America for the first time (worth it if you have time), following morning got on the shuttle to Endeavor with another applicant and waited in the... 1. Nov 23, 2022 The hotel shuttle dropped us all off and we went into a room to fill out paperwork and a pilot did a company presentation/slideshow. Then we all went into a waiting area and they called us back 1 at a time, 2 interviews going in separate rooms at the same time. They picked the order based off who had the earliest flight out. Most of what they asked was covered here, some obscure METAR stuff that you would have to study before to know.  Briefing approach was basic nothing tricky but... 2. Nov 21, 2022 Phone interview: why Endeavor? Current flight hours. Basic screening. Scheduled in person interview In person: Arrived in the morning and went through the company presentation with a captain and two other candidates. Filled out paper work and handed over logbooks for them to be audited. Tab and label everything as the email says. Interview was with an HR representative and FO. Three phases. Started with HR. Self intro, and questions, (view the study guide of this website).  Then TMAAT... Continue reading this interview experience

  3. Nov 16, 2022 As far as timeline goes, it only took a week to hear from EDV after I submitted my application, another week to have the phone interview, and during the call I scheduled the earliest in-person interview which was 5 weeks later. A few days prior to the in-person interview, I was emailed a company presentation. Day of, I took the 11:15am shuttle from the hotel to the Delta building, instead of the 7:15am one for an in-person presentation, with one other candidate. I waited just under an hour... 4. Nov 09, 2022 The people answering the pilot recruiting telephone number were very helpful, but it took a few tries to get through. They are busy. Applied online. Heard back pretty quickly. Telephone interview was basically 1) why EDV, 2) confirming right to work and addressing any accidents, and 3) picking a date for the in person interview. The flight to the interview was positive space, but a bit odd - home to ATL was booked as one round trip and ATL to MSP as an additional round trip! Hotel was... 5. Nov 08, 2022 Interview was just as described on previous posts. It seems that only the 7:15am slot is getting a company introduction, the 11:15am is only getting called in for the interview. My interview took around 20 minutes and was conducted by one HR person and one FO. It started off with some personality questions and questions about my flight training. Followed by a few scenario based questions and around 10 technical questions. I had to brief the KLGA RNAV X RWY 31, I was then shown a Metar and... Continue reading this interview experience

  6. Nov 08, 2022 It was pretty relaxed. I did 3 parts of the interview which were: 1. Work/Education History 2. HR 3. Technical. It was pretty much the same as the interview questions on here. Did some basic TMAAT and Technical questions. I then read a TAF and a METAR and was asked if I needed an... Continue reading this interview experience

  7. Nov 08, 2022 Flew out the day before and stayed in one of their crew hotels. Got on the shuttle in the morning and made it to the Delta building for the interviews. Waited for a little bit and did a presentation with two FOs. Super laid back and friendly. Got through the presentation and filled out all the forms and gave all my paperwork. Then we all waited to be called in for the interviews. Got called in and it went just as described in other accounts. The HR person did most of the questions, and the... 8. Nov 08, 2022 It was a great experience! While I waited for the interview they reviewed my logbook and asked a couple questions. The interview itself was very straight forward and quick. They asked about my training record, why I got into flying, a couple TMAAT. Really heavy on the STAR answer!!! Then it was rapid fire technical. Nothing that wasn't on the study guide here. Then I briefed a plate (FAA), read a metar and taf, and talked about an alternate. They asked me to leave the room for a couple... Continue reading this interview experience

  9. Nov 07, 2022 Thought the interview went really well and thought I was going to get the job. For some reason, someone told me a good reason why I did not get an offer is that I had a beard. My beard was clean-cut and shaved around the edges but still said that I should have shaved it all off. Live and... Continue reading this interview experience

  10. Oct 28, 2022 Interview took 40 minutes in total. I showed up early and they started on the logbook review (I was told to wait outside of the room). I was called back in and asked to explain my flying career up to that point, and asked to discuss and checkride or stage check failures. I was also asked what got me into aviation. Then we started the HR portion, which was two TMAAT questions (TMAAT you had to make a good impression, TMAAT you had to establish good rapport with someone) and a scenario based...
