Read Page 1 ... good judgement, willingness to work with a variety of people, and the ability to recognize your mistakes. The best way to tackle this is the STAR method. If you can't use this, just make sure you have a beginning, middle, and most importantly, end to your story. Many people forget to include the result of their stories. The HR portion lasted only about 15 minutes and then came the technical portion. For this, they will send you a Jeppesen plate, METAR and TAF about 15 minutes before the interview starts. Be able to decode METARs and TAFs, brief the Jepp plate, and decide when an alternate is needed. After we went through this, we jumped into some scenario based questions. Make sure you brush up on holding speeds at different altitudes, runway lighting systems,...

Broken record, but follow the study guide from this website. The interview started with introductions from both the HR and FO interviewers. The HR portion was fairly straightforward, asking about the number of bases that Republic had, where their HQ was located, traits that an FO should have, how CRM is important, and so on. HR portion was maybe 10 mins and then the technical (FO) portion was 15-20 mins. There weren't any trick questions, if you review the study guide. I was asked to brief a... -

I logged into MS Teams and hung out until my scheduled interview time. It started right on schedule. Most of the HR questions either verbatim or very close to the questions that are on the practice problems, like "When is a time you and another CFI or a student had a disagreement and how was it resolved?". Technical questions for extremely easy for someone with a CFII, was expecting the questions to be bumped up to a CFII difficulty but were not, almost all of them were seen on the... -

They had me read a METAR and part of a TAF, then what certain codes meant throughout the rest of the TAF, gave me an ETA and asked if I would need an alternate, had me brief a Jepp plate for an ILS into Boston, then asked me what certain symbols were on the plate, what type of lighting we should expect, what the vis requirements were, what an MSA gave me, different airport beacons (military vs civil), what it means when runway edge lights change color, hold speeds, speed below 10k, squawk... -

Interview was described just like the others. HR portion was about 10-15 minutes, but I was never told to use any explanation method for the TMAAT questions. Technical portion by the pilot was 30-40 minutes and rapid fire, like an instrument check ride. He asked me a few scenario based questions. (view the study guide of this website). Overall, 50 minutes max and friendly people. I am hoping to hear back with a positive result in the next... -

Was let into the Teams meeting and was greeted by an HR representative and a first officer. They both gave a brief introduction of themselves then I gave one of myself. The HR rep then let me know the structure of the interview saying that it was going to be the HR portion first then the technical portion with the first officer second. We begin the HR portion and she asks me questions such as tough moments in training, about CRM, what qualities make a good officer, how many checkride... -

The interview went pretty smooth. The first half was the HR portion where I was asked questions. Be prepared to answer questions about the company and be specific. I was asked specifically why does Republic sticks out as a place to work. I was also asked questions about the company. After a few HR questions, the Pilot began the technical part of the interview. I was asked to read a Metar and TAF. They didn't use any crazy Metars just a very basic one. He then asked me based on... -

The interview was just as described in many of the profiles here: We started with HR where they asked all the TMAAT questions which had no surpises. The technical portion was about breifing a Jepp approach, and a few ADM questions. If you use the study guide, you will do... -

I had a virtual MS Team interview. The first part was reviewing your total hours and expected ATP completion time if you have any accident, incident, etc., kind of housekeeping questions, followed by HR questions. They love to hear the STAR format and what lessons you learned from the experience. The questions I got asked were the same as what I read in the study guide. Technical questions: I got an email during the interview with METAR/TAF and Jepp chart attachments. Technical questions are... -

Interview was just like as all the other submissions stated. Started with HR, the TMAAT questions, why you want to join the cadet program, etc. The portion with a First Officer was straight forward. Read a metar, read a TAF, determine if you need an alternate. In my case the ceilings and visibility were good but there was thunderstorms in the vicinity so I stated I would have an alternate. Didn't have to brief a Jeppessen plate, I only had to answer super basic questions about the plate.... -

HR portion to start (20 min), basic behavioral and situational questions, where you currently stand on training/hours, why Republic, etc. Technical portion followed (20 min) with a current Captain. Asked to read through METAR, TAF, and then basic instrument questions. Also briefed a Jeppesen approach plate and was asked questions. Left about 20 min for me to ask questions. Overall pretty easy...
