He has his commercial certificate with instrument and multi engine ratings. (email from Christopher): Mike, I just wanted to thank you and all the patrons of your website for providing these scholarships to students like myself. I know that everyone reading this knows first hand how expensive flight training is and how valuable scholarships are. I can honestly say that when my name was called, my heart was beating a mile a minute, and on behalf of my family I want to extend my deepest and most sincere thanks to you and your patrons for this opportunity to be able to affordably continue my flight training. It is because of generous people like you giving back to aviation, which makes it possible for the students of today to become the leaders of tomorrow. This is my 1st scholarship award and it will help to finance my flight training at Southern Illinois University.
