    • The predictive windshear system uses the weather radar to detect where there is a doppler shift in the precipitation ahead of the airplane. PWS scans 5 NM ahead from 0-2300 ft and 1500 ft below according to phase of the flight

What types of things will be asked in a Simulator or Scenario exercise?

  1. (Dec 10, 2024)  Like the simulator briefing packet suggested, you are allowed to choose either left/right seat whichever one you are comfortable with. No autopilot or autothrottle, MFD only has a huge CDI so no GPS map display as well. Evaluator will not set any speed/heading/altitude bug and you are not supposed to set them yourself either.
