  • I submitted my application early fall. The day I submitted my application, I received an email to complete the CUT-E test. I completed two Meet & Greets with AA.  (one the next month and one 4 months later.   I had a third Meet & Greet scheduled with AA at WAI. Three weeks prior to my M&G at WAI, I...

Everything is spot on based off others feedback. The one thing that wasnâ??t the same was that they donâ??t want anything with you during the actual interview. (Portfolio, resumes, briefcase) nothing. I got asked: Tell me about yourself? Why AA? BUR approach showing VFR that turns into light rain, low ceiling, and low visibility. WWYD You were at a social event and you overheard peoples d mouth talking about why does AA always go around on landing. TMAAT you had to help a colleague through...

The experience was exactly as described in these reports. Everyone was professional and welcoming. The interview was relaxed and we finished the official questions early so just had a casual conversation for the last third of the time. Out of the 14 people in my group, 10 got CJOs on the spot. I think the remaining 4 just had to correct errors in their logbooks and wait for review. Overall a good experience. Good...

Overall professional and relaxing experience, they really want you there and want you to feel relaxed. Take your interview mentality to the staff of the hotel, they know and observe, just be personable. Started with a shuttle from the hotel to AA facility. 14 of us in morning slot, once we arrived we were given badges and waited 10 minutes until a rep came and took us over to the area where the folks check your documents and turn in your logbooks. After documents were checked and logbooks...

If you need flights and hotels, they’ll arrange that for you. Even if you live local I would suggest the hotel, so you can get rested and make it to the interview with the rest of the pack. There are several interview times each day. I ended up with the 8:30 Aries Shuttle (I felt a tip was a nice gesture. You’ll take your bags with you also) and 10:15 interview. We arrived at about 845, grabbed our bags, and walked up the ramp to a door that reads “American Airlines...

I submitted an App about a year and a half ago but i never really updated it until about 2 months ago, found some mistakes corrected them and within a few days I had an invite to interview. Experience Fly into Dallas for to an AA paid room the day before. The day of you'll catch a shuttle with the rest of your group to the AA's facility/museum. There's a lot of time between getting there and actually starting the interview, a little over an hour to watch a video, verify docs and submit...

My interview experience was exactly as others have described. No surprises and the interviewers were super friendly! They definitely stayed stoic so it was hard to tell how I was doing throughout. They also asked lots of follow-up questions which presumably helped me score more points. 10/14 pilots in our group got CJOs on the spot. Definitely put in the work to make your logbook clean and accurate, and make sure you sign every page with your full name! They seem to greatly value...

The gouge on here is spot on. The interview experience went just as others have said.  Make sure your logbooks are absolutely squared away. It appears to be the number 1 reason not be offered a CJO on the...

The interview went exactly as the others have described. When we first arrived to the Center through the company provided van, they led us to a room to collect our documents and logbooks. From there, they took us to museum where we went into a theater to watch a motivational video that focused on the company's cultural values of inclusivity and the importance of leadership. From there, a senior duty pilot came and answered any questions we had and then led us on a short tour around the...

All the other reviews were spot on. No surprise questions or anything that I had not seen before. Have your stories ready for the TMAAT and have a plan for the scenarios and you'll be...
